The Home ReMixtape Artchives is a series art workshops utilizing the creation of home mixtapes as an archival approach to document, protect and preserve untold stories centered around the home experience.
This workshop will concentrate on the paradoxical nature of creating imagery from Black perspectives, while existing in the collective, socio-historical context of violent Black subject/object formation. This is a space to collectively watch, discuss, read and write about Black visuality and embodied representation.

Dreaming of Water is a small interactive sound installation of coal stones connected to a Midi sound system. As the artist and the audience interact with the rocks, different water sounds will resonate to create a soundscape referring to the rivers and natural resources now destroyed by coal mining.
