This workshop will concentrate on the paradoxical nature of creating imagery from Black perspectives, while existing in the collective, socio-historical context of violent Black subject/object formation. This is a space to collectively watch, discuss, read and write about Black visuality and embodied representation.

This will be an intensive workshop on black and white film development over 4 hours taking place at Oyoun in collaboration with Queer Analog Darkroom

This workshop is experimenting with putting oneself in front of the camera. For this, the focus lies upon looking at self-portraiture in queer art history, talking about imaginations, trying to help each other realise them, and speaking about the photographs that will be taken.

This workshop offers the possibility of making simple pinhole cameras using matchboxes to take 35mm photos as well as creating a pinhole camera using a film canister to make Solargraphy and loading it with photographic paper
