Rice and Beans Events invites you to a day full of food, fashion and music.
Music: Immerse yourself in the smooth sounds of RnB, the foundation of music that holds a special place in our hearts. Take a break from fast-paced, loud music and let yourself fully enjoy the rhythm of RnB.
Food: Join us for a celebration of cultural bonds, differences and similarities through food and music! Experience the delicious combination of Nigerian Jollof rice and Brazilian black beans, represented by the name Rice n Beans (RnB).
Fashion: Dress to impress and show off your unique style. A fashion show will be held where the top 5 voted best dressed will compete for a prize.
Black-Owned Businesses: Show your support for the community by visiting and shopping from black-owned businesses at the event.

The event will be happening in the garden of Oyoun. In case of rain, it will be moved to our café!

Tobz: is a talented R'n'B DJ, music producer, and drummer with a deep-rooted love for music and a strong connection to his Nigerian culture. Born and raised in Nigeria, DJ Tobz has a keen eye for detail and is known for his meticulous approach to his craft. He is not only a master of his art, but also an individual with great integrity and passion for his work.
cesco.blz: is a talented artist who is deeply rooted in the genres of Hip Hop, RnB, and Trap. As a singer and drummer, Cesco.blz showcases his exceptional musical skills in his debut album, which is a testament to his Brazilian heritage, evident in both language and sound. With a fusion of influences from his cultural background, Cesco.blz creates a unique and captivating musical experience that reflects his artistic vision.
Performers:
RCSE: is an Afro-German artist emerging from the creative streets of Berlin. Their music speaks to the heart and carries influences of Neo-Soul, RnB, Reggae, Afropop and other sounds.
Jano // nepomuk (he/him): is an up-and-coming artist from Hamburg/Germany. Jano started making beats in late 2018 and through the years he established his own style and seeks great inspiration in analogue producing. His sound is heavily influenced by 70s Funk, Jazz, and Soul music. Jano is also active as a DJ – Either playing vinyls from his collection or to support cesco.blz on stage. Jano publishes his beats and mixes on SoundCloud exclusively.
Anele: Born and bred in the vibrant KwaZulu Natal South Africa, Anele discovered their artistic expression at the young age by collecting musical masterpieces and curating them into some of the most sought-after playlists. Fast forward to today, Anele’s sets always prove to be a true reflection of Africa’s constantly evolving sound which features in the distinctive sounds of Amapiano, Gqom, Electronic and Dance. As far as audiences go, Anele has made their mark on some of the most sought-after dance floors such as SohoHouse Berlin, Bloom Festival (Turkey), Swim Good (Berlin / Brooklyn), Collect Radio (Portugal) and The Lot Radio (Brooklyn).
Anele’s well-nurtured talent has been recognised by the greats. Their inventive sound has resulted in her opening some for some of the world’s best acts such as the legendary Eyrkah Badu, Dbn Gogo, Focalistic and Kaytranada.
