DESCRIPTION:Join us on 04.10. to celebrate the opening of the photo exhibition "Queer Footprints: Melodies of Migration Weaving the Threads of Identity"!  \nThis showcase\, organized by Oyouns fellows Dipesh Khanal and Shuhrat Saidov and the Oyoun Team\, features the stories of nine amazing queer immigrant artists living in Germany. Their personal art pieces highlight deep\, vulnerable narratives of resilience\, joy\, hope\, finding community\, and various intersectional experiences.  \nYou are invited to immerse yourself in these stories and experiences and show your support to the artists and organizers. Mark your calendars: The exhibition will run from October 4th to October 6th\, 2023 \nThe vernissage will take place on 04.10.23 from 17:30 to 21:30 h. \nAfterwards the exhibition is open on 5.10.23 & 6.10.23 between 12:00 h and 20:00 h. \n\nList of people exhibiting their works:  \nJoanna\nKanykei \nMadhumita \nManu\nManizha\nMarcel\nMoh\nPolina\nRay  \nTicket: FREE ADMISSION! \nRegistration: not required \nLanguage: English \n \nBiographies \nDipesh Khanal  \nDipesh Khanal (he/they)\, also goes by Sezz and is a board member of Queer Youth Group. He cooperates with Oyoun as a grantee of the CrossCulture program. Dipesh has a Bachelor in Social Work and English Literature and works with young people and CSOs on different projects and programmes.  \nShuhrat Sinov  \nShuhrat Saidov is a human rights defender\, activist\, and art activist. He has been involved in human rights advocacy at the Public Foundation for Public Health and Human Rights since 2010.
