DESCRIPTION:The Queer Analog Darkroom (QAD) is finally opening the doors to the community for its first get together here at Oyoun! \nSince accessing and practicing analog photography has its limits for discriminated and marginalized groups\, the QAD puts emphasis on engaging with the wider community of practice. \nCome and join the introduction into the project to openly exchange ideas\, discuss intentions and celebrate this brave space and queer culture in photography! \nThere will be an introduction speech by the QAD on the 03.02.2023 at 18:30. Please try to be punctual. This event and space is for the QBIPOC and FLINTA* community. The core team consists of eight people each contributing a wide range of different skills and knowledge around photography. Besides their queerness that connects them\, it is also their different identities and experiences of discrimination or marginalization that shape the collective work and perspectives on photography. QAD wants to make knowledge around analog photography accessible\, to those who are often denied access due to their identities and/or experiences of marginalization. \n  \nQAD - Queer Analog Darkroom - ist ein selbstorganisiertes\, inklusives Skillsharing-Kollektiv für analoge Fotografie in Berlin. Das Kernteam besteht aus acht Personen\, die alle ein breites Spektrum an unterschiedlichen Fähigkeiten und Wissen rund um die Fotografie einbringen. Neben ihrer Queerness\, sind es die unterschiedlichen Identitäten und Marginalisierungserfahrungen\, die die Mitglieder des Kollektivs verbinden und die ihre Arbeit und Perspektiven auf die Fotografie prägen. Im Rahmen der Projektförderung ‘Urbane Praxis’ möchte das 2022 gegründete Kollektiv\, Queer Analog Darkroom\, in Kooperation mit dem Oyoun\, den öffentlich städtischen Raum mitgestalten. Räume sind nicht für alle Menschen in der gleichen Weise zugänglich. Das Ziel des QAD Kollektivs ist es durch selbstorganisierte und nicht-kommerzialisierte Arbeit Räume für eine Community rund um die analoge Filmentwicklung und Filmtechnik zu schaffen. Es soll ein Raum sein\, in dem gemeinsam gelernt wird und der sich kollektiv Schritt für Schritt weiterentwickelt. \n––– \nThere is no place at Oyoun for sexism\, queerphobia\, transphobia\, any form of racism or discrimination such as anti-black\, anti-Muslim racism or anti-Semitism. The same applies to any kind of violent\, aggressive or assaultive behaviour. Oyoun provides a safer space for everyone\, an open forum for dialogue and a place where we support and stand up for each other.
