Asta Mitkijá Balto\, Elisabeth Heilman Blind\, Liv Aira\, Asta Mitkijá Balto\, Marika Renhuvud\, Luis Bogado\, Lars Henrik \n:: 13:30-15:30 Performance Intervention ČSV* at Hasenheide (Meeting place at Oyoun) \nThe performance intervention ČSV is the result of the residency of Nordic and German artists at Oyoun. In this unique performance\, traditional Joik singing\, poetry\, mask dance and contemporary dance are combined to create an impressive work. The aim is to educate the audience about the socio-political situation in Sápmi and at the same time to make them think. This performance intervention combines artistic expression with an important social concern and conveys the important message about the challenges and resilience of the Sámi community. \n*These letters have many meanings\, one of which is "čájet sámi vuoiŋŋa"\, which translates as "showing the Sami spirit" and is often used to promote Sami identity and activism. \n:: 16:30-19:00 Talks and Film Screening at Oyoun \n16:30-17:20 Panel Talk: “Power Production's Impact on Indigenous Way of Life” with Asta Mitkijá Balto\, Elisabeth Heilman Blind and Liv Aira\nThis panel talk focuses on the impact of modern energy generation on indigenous lifestyles\, culture and connection to nature. It addresses noise pollution from power generation and its impact on natural sounds in nature. Special attention is given to Germany\, which buys electricity from Norwegian and Swedish Sápmi.\nThe discussion will highlight the destruction of traditional nature by wind turbines\, changes in wildlife behaviour and their impact on reindeer herders. Likewise\, the coal and mineral mines in Gallock and controversial construction projects in Finnmark that threaten traditional Sámi land and nature will be addressed in order to improve Norway's carbon footprint instead of using existing technologies to remove CO2. \n17:30-18:20 Presentation: “Indigenizing the Arts” by Asta Mitkijá Balto with Q&A\nIn her lecture\, Asta Mitkijá Balto gives a concise overview of the situation of the indigenous Sámi in Norway\, with a special focus on Sámi art and its important role in the preservation of Sámi society. Through images and examples of Sámi art\, she illustrates the journey of liberation from colonisation by showing how Sámi art serves as a reflection and critique of social issues\, evoking emotions that politics and science often cannot reach. This artistic expression offers new insights\, understanding and meaningful experiences for both Sámi and non-Sámi and sheds light on Sámi rights and their survival as a people. \n18:30-19:00 Film Screening: "Faamoe" by Marika Renhuvud \n"Faamoe" is a captivating screen dance film by filmmaker and choreographer Marika Reinhuvud. The film explores the deep source of power inherent in indigenous women and draws inspiration from the harmonious connection between nature and the Sámi goddess Saaraahka. \nTickets: Free admission | No registration needed\nLanguage: English  \nBiographies:  \nCamilla Therese Karlsen \nElisabeth Heilmann Blind \nLars Henrik Blind\nLars Henrik Blind is a reindeer herder\, yoiker and storyteller and has worked as a cultural worker in Sápmi for more than 40 years. As a young yoiker\, he toured with well-known yoikers such as Nils Aslak Valkeapää at home and abroad. He has worked on various cultural projects\, including the Sámi theatre in Kiruna and film productions\, and has travelled the Nordic countries as a storyteller. \nMarika Renhuvud\nMarika Renhuvud is a dancer and choreographer from Sweden's southernmost Sámi community\, Idre Sameby\, and now lives in Funäsdalen. She has trained at the New Education for Contemporary Dance and the Ballet Academy in Stockholm\, and has a diploma in didactics from the University of Dance and Circus.  Marika has been working as a dancer and choreographer since 2018 and founded the company RenhuvudDans AB in 2023. Marika's dream is to spread knowledge and understanding of Sámi culture through dance\, and is committed to spreading knowledge of her Sámi heritage.  All her dance pieces are based on or contain thoughts and ideas that originate from Sámi culture. \nLiv Aira \nLiv Aira is a dancer and choreographer who often refers to her Sámi heritage in her art. Since 2017\, she has been the founder and artistic director of Invisible People Contemporary Dance Company\, with whom she is currently touring with Ájttega and Akti Lij. She is the initiator of the Låvda - Sápmi Screendance Festival and the indigenous cultural festival Skájdde in the Storforsen nature reserve. She is currently establishing the world's first Sámi dance centre in northern Sweden outside Jokkmokk. She has a BA degree in dance and an MA degree in choreography from the Institute of Arts in Barcelona. \nLuis Bogado\nLuis Bogado\, known as "Enano\," is a versatile artist who has seamlessly merged his 14 years of karate expertise with a passion for hip-hop dance\, notably Breaking. This fusion has birthed his distinctive Latin-Style dance. Over two decades\, Enano has mastered various dance forms\, taught internationally\, and represented Venezuela in numerous competitions and cultural festivals. He's also a co-founder of the Foundation "Manzanoarte\," promoting social circus and the performing arts in Venezuela. She is Brazilian of Afro-Indigenous descent and deals with themes related to her ancestry. She creates spiritual\, emotional\, poetical\, and critical experiences inside the artistic context. Through a diverse range of workshops\, the aim is to connect decolonial knowledge and artistic practices with marketing\, design\, and knowledge dissemination. \nFourth stop: @ Korea Verband (Quitzowstraße 103\, 10551 Berlin) | The exact stop ist at Friedensstatue (Bremer Str. 41\, 10551 Berlin) \n*** \nThe project "Archive-in-the-making for Statue of Peace" aims to present the Statue of Peace as a vivid place of resistance and encounter for marginalized communities in Berlin on the 30.09.2023. With a one-day program in the Tiny OyoUnity project including a participatory installation in the Tiny House\, existing relationships of solidarity and self-organization will be made visible\, and open the space for new encounters. \nThe participatory exhibition will gather the work of political initiatives of marginalized\, racialized communities\, especially Asian diasporic groups\, in collaboration with local initiatives\, (post-)migrant (self-)organizations and community members. Through an open call prior to the exhibition\, Spicy Ginkgo reach out to respective communities to share archival material for the exhibition: photos\, videos\, and audio recordings of past events serve to document and highlight the significance of the Statue of Peace as a common reference point of solidarity in Berlin. \nAt the day of the exhibition visitors are encouraged to leave their own thoughts\, feelings\, comments\, and draw new connections between the exhibition elements and participate in the creation of an archive-in-the-making. \nThe installation invites visitors to engage with the aura of the Statue of Peace with curiosity and imagination. DESCRIPTION:To those Exiled from Earth\, so they chose the sky إلى من كانت منفاھم الأرض، فاختاروا السماء  \n(’أجسَادٌ مِن عَلَق) Our Queer future is a past tense’ is an installation performance in a form of a promenade\, based on a post migration perspective on Queerness in relation to Arab* Identity(s). As a term\, Queerness does not exist in Arabic. However\, it does and did exist as a practice\, one that goes back further than the global queerness; that Western hegemony imposed on the globe. The language of queerness becomes hegemonic through erasing identities that existed before it and subsuming/substituting vast and complex communities\, histories\, and languages across the globe with a monolithic\, generalizing Western model of understanding and approaching sexual and gender diversity. Ahmad Baba will take the audience through a journey between different temporal and spatial dimensions of "queer" existence. : an invisible past\, incorporating linguistic\, social\, cultural\, and religious elements on erotic\, sexual and "non-normative" discourses from classical Arab* manuscripts. Into a distorted present that challenge the hegemony of Western narratives about Arabo-Islamic sexual and gender identities\, Towards imagining a utopic future that holds more questions than offer answers. “Ilk علق” is an attempt to engage with these questions! His performances are exquisitely personalized\, reflecting his unique experiences and worldview\, and seek to disrupt conventional pedagogies around performance and body work that perpetuate hegemonic ideologies. His research investigates tools to build an antiracist and powerful representation of trans bipoc people’s sociality\, identity\, and their historical journey. \nAstan Meyer is a singer\, actress\, curator and model born in France and traveling regularly to Mali since the age of 3. She combines different musical genres\, from jazz to rock to afro-techno to hip-hop and is also the lead singer of the band Asphalt Djelis\, which mixes ancient and futuristic sounds. She expresses herself also through all the dance influences she has encountered. She has appeared as an actress in music videos and commercials\, mainly in Germany and France. She has been involved in many creative collaborations such as with Puma\, Sevdaliza\, the Hoodoo Musical in Berlin. She is also a co-founder of Culture Supply and a member of Out Out Time Embassy\, a multicultural group of curators who generate conversation and curiosity about art and culture in Berlin. \nAmowia is a German-Ghanaian multidisciplinary artist who started dancing at age five. They learned hip-hop and contemporary dance\, teaching their own dance class by age fifteen. After moving to Berlin in 2014\, Amowia worked as a choreographer\, movement coach\, model\, and dancer\, appearing on TV shows and working with national and international artists. They honed their dance skills in London before joining the ballroom scene in 2018\, which allowed them to embrace their roots\, identity\, and queerness. As a DJ\, Amowia plays house music heavily influenced by afro beats\, hip hop\, RnB\, and ballroom beats. Their passion for house music has led them to give people a certain groove on the dance floor and take them on a journey. \nREGIE \nMirah Laline is a brazilian director\, actress\, dramaturg and theater pedagoge. She studied Directing in the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul\, and was in the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in 2015 as a DAAD scholarship holder. Productions such as „Der Hässliche“ of Marius von Mayenburg\, Sasha Marianna Salzmanns „Muttersprache Mameloschn“ and „Pátria Estrangeira / Fremde Heimat“ (Koproduktion Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe and Goethe-Institut Porto Alegre) won several awards in Brazil. In 2021 she developed the transcultural project „Juntos/ Bî Hevra“\, which took place at the "Galerie im Körnerpark"\, followed by „Das Humboldt Experiment”\, in Humboldt Forum\, with its first exhibition in March of 2022. Her work offers the opportunity of learning and exchanging about topics such as decolonialism and diversity in the cultural scene\, for institutions as well as for artists. \nCHOREOGRAPHIE \nBlack Pearl de Almeida Lima is a multidisciplinary Afro- Latinx trans brazilian artist living in Berlin\, Germany. She graduated from the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Mannheim\, has performed professionally in various theater institutions and renowned professional dance companies in Germany. Is currently a member of the Iconic House Saint Laurent Europe. SUMMARY:Itinerant Geographies – A Proposition for Radical Unbelonging
DESCRIPTION:I have invited a group of friends and colleagues to "unbelong together"\, which resulted in the exchange of practices that make up this program. Following an intuition that gardens\, as places of the "could have been" and the "could be"\, that is\, of failure and hope\, could be the lenses\, the place\, the set of practices\, the impetus\, and/or the systems through and by which to approach issues of belonging/unbelonging\, away from state coercion and other identity politics and determinisms\, I invited them to respond to this intuition with their own practices. \nI hope this exchange will create resonances and conjunctions for new territories\, though it might as well (miss)lead us to dead ends and false connections. In her work she focuses on the relationships among identity\, current events\, and poetics\, experimenting with how geographies can be expressed by the utopic medium of performance. Her works Willow trees exist\, Cotton flowers exist\, Apricot Trees exist or an Impossible walk\, Don’t kill the messenger\, Zones of Immaterial Pictorial Sensibility\, Nekri Fysi\, Icono-Stasis have been presented in Giessen\, Frankfurt\, Kassel\, Darmstadt\, Mannheim\, Berlin and Athens. She lives and works in Giessen. \nNitish Jain (b.1989) is an immersive storyteller working across the mediums of architecture\, performance art\, and installations. He is the founder of Studio MoreThanThat\, an artistic [agency/practice] that makes multi-sensory experiences. They invite audiences to sense rather than see their works by incorporating touch\, taste\, smell\, listening\, and seeing in different ways. Nitish trained as an architect and as a scenographer. He was born in India and he currently lives and works in Prague\, Czechia.  \nDiana De Fex is a performer\, choreographer\, and art pedagogue using artistic methods (narrative storytelling\, autoethnography\, somatics) to explore human- environment relations and politics beyond identity and representation. They is interested in researching non-binary and non-linear logics and perceptions\, freedom of speech and of dissent as well as restorative justice. She/they is currently completing an MA in Choreography and Performance at the Institute for Applied Theatre Studies-Giessen. \nOlga Popova is a Ukrainian artist educated in film\, theater\, and acting and based in Germany. Her interest lies in the plasticity of the environment and its translation and transformation into the stage or other non-theatrical spaces. She is currently enrolled\nin the MA  Applied Theater Studies program in Giessen with a specialization in Performing Arts Practice. \nChristian Maturana describe themselves as a drop of water in the ocean. \nFabián Franco Márquez is a visual artist working in scenography and painting (murals\, billboarding\, and street art) as well as art pedagogy. He graduated from the University of Cluj-Napoca and currently lives and works in Leipzig. \nVincent Viala works as a musician and music educator in various formats\, and in theatrical-performative contexts backstage. In addition to solo and band projects ranging from garage-punk to singer-songwriter\, to experimental improvisation\, Viala works on compositional experiments and fragments\, which go in various directions of acoustic/time-based art. "Misappropriation" of conventional instruments\, or electronic and sample-based are preferred techniques here\, which also come to bear especially in the musical accompaniment of performing art. Thereby he moves in the absurd\, in experiment and noise\, in improvisation\, in melancholy and dissonance\, as well as in the fragile\, in the little\, in repetition\, in the atmospheric. Spontaneity\, expressivity\, freedom of means and material\, and the unique capacity of sound to create emotional meaning are important themes in his work. Since 2017\, Viala has been studying B.A. Music Education with minors in Musicology and Sociology at the JLU in Giessen. \n\nSupported by Fonds Darstellende Künste with funds from the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and Media within the program NEUSTART KULTUR. \nIn Oyoun there is no place for sexism\, queer hostility\, transphobia\, any form of racism or discrimination such as anti-Black\, anti-Muslim racism or anti-Semitism. DESCRIPTION:The etymology of the Root word ‘Ngoma’ is found amongst many nations’ tribes and\nregions in southern\, central and West Africa. Janzen argued that Ngoma is a proto-\nBantu cognate within which exists an ecology of related institutions such as the\npractice of medicine\, divination\, crafts\, music\, and ritual. Kwasukasukela Arts Collective practices and believes that Ngoma is a proto-Bantu consciousness that predates any forms of animism\,\nreligion\, or spiritual practice on the African Continent. He graduated from the University of Cape Town [UCT] (2015) with a\nDiploma in Dance Education\, Postgraduate Certificate in Education (Dance Studies\nFET) (2019)\, an Honours degree in Applied Theatre & Dance (2021)\, and is\ncurrently a Masters candidate in Music at the same university.\nTrained in (South) African indigenous forms of dance\, he seamlessly blends his\nroots with his knowledge in western contemporary and African contemporary\ndance/movement. His work seeks to explore the dissemination of knowledge\nthrough African folk music and various aesthetics of African traditional dance\,\nthereby within this context\, interpreting music and dance as indigenous schools of\nthought. His interest in the spiritual within sound and movement is a key component\nthat helps him navigate through teaching\, and movement facilitations in his practice.\nCebolenkosi has been involved in numerous projects in and outside South Africa. He\nwas co-choreographed and performed at UCT Ibuyambo Orchestra called Jarabi which\ntoured Matola\, Mozambique (2016). Through the tutelage of Dr Patrick Acogny\, Zuma\nparticipated in a dance exchange programme at Ecole des Sables\, in Toubab Dialaw\,\nSenegal (2016) where he collaborated with Fannie Falk Faye and seven other dancers\nto create a short film called “DIG IT” which showed at the Stockholm Dansfilm Festival\n(2017). As a freelancer at Sibonelo Dance Project in Cape Town (2016) he taught\nAfrican contemporary dance in their development programme\, and performed with the\ncompany in “1976 Spirits”\, a production curated by Mandla Mbothwe at Artscape\nTheatre\, and “Abangabonwa” (which won the National Arts Festival 2016 Standing\nOvation award) at the Kasi 2 Kasi festival\, Cape Town. That same year\, was a resident\nartist at UCT: South African College of Music’s African Music department\, he taught\nAfrican indigenous dance\, and taught a master class at UCT: School of Dance.\nWorking for Vuyani Dance Theatre\, as an apprentice (2017)\, he made his mark with the\ncompany as he danced alongside Gregory Maqoma in a successful season premiere of\nMaqoma’s award-winning Cion\, at The Market Theatre.\nHe is now a full-time artist at Kwasukasukela Arts Collective\, an organisation he co-\nfounded in 2016\, where he and the Collective have performed their work Umsamo at\nthe Dance Umbrella Africa at the South African State Theatre\, Pretoria\, Theatre Arts\nAdmin Collective\, Cape Town (2019)\, and Northern Cape Theatre (2021)\, and; a recent\noffering Sicel’ Ukukhanya at (Un)Infecting the City (2021). Since then he has also\nworked with internationally renounced artists such as Shane Cooper\, Mbuso Khoza\,\nJonno Sweetman\, Linda Sikhakhane\, Msaki\, and Nduduzo Makhathini. \nNkosenathi Ernie Koela \nNkosenathi Ernie Koela is a Ph.D candidate specializing in\nindigenous music therapies at the University of Cape Town. Koela’s interdisciplinary\npractice encompasses being an Afrikan multi-instrumentalist\, he explores how\nhealing practices through sound\, creates space that manifests spiritually and\nmaterially. Koela has been a performer and instrumentalist for over 16 years\, and\nplays multitude of indigenous instruments from around the world. He also teaches\nothers how to play traditional instruments with strong emphasis on the instruments\nh’story\, spiritual significance and importance.\n \nThis he does as testament to his ancestry\, the long line/s of traditional\ninstrumentalists\, diviners/ healers (amaGqirha namaXhwele) that run in his family\,\nwho are masters of traditional San\, Bantu\, and Nguni music/heritage. DESCRIPTION:Anlässlich des „Internationalen Tages gegen Gewalt an Frauen*“ am 25. November führt RAICES einen Auszug aus dem performativen Theaterstück MARTA\, das jegliche Form sexualisierter Diskriminierung und Gewalt anklagt\, auf.  \nMARTA\, ein Stück über den Körper und die Biografie\, erzählt die Geschichte zweier Frauen*\, die in ihrem Alltag gleichzeitig geschlechtsspezifische Gewalt erfahren\, die in einem Frauen*mord endet. Diese Geschichte wird durch physisches und biografisches Theater erzählt und lädt das Publikum ein\, die Gewalt gegen Frauen* nicht als Privatsache\, sondern als ein Problem der gesamten Gesellschaft zu verstehen. \nDiese Aktion ist die zweite Veranstaltung im Rahmen des stadtweiten „Parcours der Veränderung“ des Kollektivs Migrantas (Instagram\, Facebook\, Webseite). Im Vorfeld haben die Künstler*innen von „Raíces (Wurzeln)“ über das Thema sexualisierte Diskriminierung und Gewalt gegen Frauen* reflektiert und ein für sie repräsentatives Piktogramm für die urbane Aktion ausgewählt. DESCRIPTION:"Eines Abends\, als ich noch ein kleines Mädchen war\, saß ich mit meinem Vater am Strand. Das Meer war so dunkel wie der Himmel. Plötzlich erschien mir ein Lichttropfen am Horizont. Er kam nicht von Booten und bewegte sich nicht. Genau gegenüber von uns war ein anderes Land\, wie ein Märchenland mit leuchtenden Lichtern mitten im Meer. Sofort fragte ich meinen Vater\, woher die Lichter kämen. '' Es ist ein anderes Land. Es ist Griechenland\, mein kleines Mädchen''\, antwortete mein Vater. Ich war schockiert! Bis dahin dachte ich\, das Meer sei das Ende und es gäbe kein anderes Land... Ich sagte ihm voller Aufregung: "Ich will dorthin\, Papa\, es ist so nah!!! Seine Antwort war bitter: "Du kannst nicht dorthin gehen\, wann immer du willst\, Ayşe".  \nNOMAD ist eine körperliche Theateraufführung\, die auf dem Leben von Ayşe\, einer Immigrantin in Europa\, basiert. Dalian\, China) ist Medienkünstlerin\, Kulturorganisatorin und Immigrantin der ersten Generation und lebt zwischen Los Angeles und Berlin. Ihre transdisziplinäre Praxis arbeitet mit zyklischer und generationenübergreifender Zeit. An den Rändern der kolonialen Vorstellungskraft arbeitet sie daran\, Technologie auf die Erde zu bringen\, indem sie kollektive Experimente in Ahnenerinnerung\, artübergreifender Pädagogik und vernetzter Solidarität entwickelt. \nAmira Zarari ist die Tochter jemenitisch-eritreischer Eltern\, eine von sechs Geschwistern und in Deutschland geboren und aufgewachsen. Schon in jungen Jahren war sie in vielerlei Hinsicht kreativ. Inspiriert durch das US-amerikanische Poesieformat Def Poetry Jam begann sie mit 16 Jahren\, Gedichte zu schreiben und auf der Bühne vorzutragen. Ihre Gedichte reflektieren ihre Realität als schwarze muslimische Frau\, die in Deutschland lebt. Nach einer Ablehnung an einer Kunsthochschule begann sie ein Studium der Middle Eastern Studies an der Universität Hamburg\, das sie derzeit beendet. Sie hat eine große Leidenschaft für Musik\, Interieur und Kaffee. Ihr Traum und ihre Vision ist es\, diese Leidenschaften eines Tages zu vereinen. \nArijit Bhattacharyya (b. 1994\, Bally) ist ein Künstler und unabhängiger Kurator\, der derzeit in Deutschland lebt und arbeitet. Seine Praxis dreht sich um umstrittene Erzählungen des Widerstands durch soziales Engagement\, Designinterventionen\, große Wandmalereien und Lecture-Performances. Sein künstlerischer Diskurs ist tief verwurzelt in der Auseinandersetzung mit der soziopolitischen Geschichte und ihren Auswirkungen auf kulturelle Praktiken. Als Kurator ist er an künstlerischen Verhandlungen beteiligt\, die Methoden des sozialen Ungehorsams erforschen. \nBruna Barros (or Mercúrio) ist multidisziplinäre*r Künstler*in und Übersetzer*in. Durch Literatur\, Übersetzung\, Kino und bildende Kunst schafft Bruna Erzählungen der Zuneigung. Zusammen mit Jess Oliveira bildet sie das Übersetzer-Künstler-Duo cocoruto. Bruna glaubt an die Wichtigkeit\, über sich selbst zu sprechen\, und an die Bedeutung des Erzählens von Geschichten. Als Dichter*in wurden sie in der von Jarid Arraes herausgegebenen Anthologie Poetas Negras Brasileiras vorgestellt. Als Filmemacher*in schrieb und inszenierte sie den Kurzfilm "Amor de Ori" (2017) und war Co-Autor*in und Co-Regisseur*in des Kurzdokumentarfilms "à beira do planeta mainha soprou a gente" (2020)\, der für den Grande Prêmio do Cinema Brasileiro 2021 in der Kategorie Kurzdokumentation nominiert wurde.   \nJess Oliveira ist Übersetzerin\, Forscherin\, Dichterin\, Mitglied der Forschungsgruppe Übersetzen im Schwarzen Atlantik (UFBA\, Brasilien) und Mitglied des Übersetzungs-Kunst-Duos cocuruto mit Bruna Barros. Derzeit Doktorandin in Literatur und Kultur (UFBA)\, mit einem CAPES/DAAD-Forschungsstipendium (2021-2022) an der Universität Bayreuth. In den Jahren 2019 und 2020 war sie Teil der Künstlerresidenz “Rethinking the Aesthetics of the Colony” in Johannesburg (Südafrika) und der gleichnamigen Plattform für Übersetzungsstudien und politische Imagination in der Diaspora. Im Jahr 2020 war sie nominiert für den 62. Jabuti Award in der Kategorie Übersetzung. \nCarla Abilés wurde in Salta\, Argentinien\, geboren und lebt heute in Berlin. Sie ist Teil einer Familie mit einer starken Migrationsgeschichte aus ihrem Herkunftsort. Sie arbeitet mit Poesie\, Installationen\, Fotografie\, Malerei und Stickerei auf verschiedenen Trägern wie Papier und auch auf der Haut als Teil einer Erkundung durch analoge Tätowiertechniken. Ihre Arbeiten befassen sich mit der Idee von Machtbeziehungen und der Überschneidung von Migration\, Feminismus\, Technologie und brauner Kultur. \nJumoke Adeyanju ist eine interdisziplinäre\, mehrsprachige Autorin\, Kuratorin und Tänzerin. Unter ihrem Pseudonym mokeyanju tritt sie gelegentlich als Vinyl-Selektorin und aufstrebende Klangkünstlerin auf. Jumoke ist die Gründerin der Poetry Meets Series [est. 2014]\, Ko-Kuratorin von Sensitivities of Dance bei SAVVY Contemporary und moderiert ihre eigene Radiosendung Sauti ya àkókò auf Refuge Worldwide. Sie hat ihre künstlerischen Arbeiten auf internationalen Literaturfestivals präsentiert und dabei in Englisch\, Deutsch\, Kiswahili und Yorùbá performt..  \nOzan Zakariya Keskinkılıç ist Politikwissenschaftler\, freier Autor und Lyriker. Er studierte in Wien und Berlin und lehrt und forscht an Berliner Hochschulen. 2021 wurde er als Mitglied der Expert*innenkommission gegen antimuslimischen Rassismus in Berlin berufen. Im gleichen Jahr erschien “Muslimaniac. Die Karriere eines Feindbildes” in der Edition Körber. Neben wissenschaftlichen Texten schreibt Keskinkılıç Essays\, Prosa und Lyrik. Seine Gedichte werden in Literaturzeitschriften und Anthologien in Deutschland\, Österreich und der Schweiz veröffentlicht. Für den Zyklus “jetzt nicht an gog und magog denken” wurde er von der Akademie für gesprochenes Wort ausgezeichnet. Im August 2022 erscheint sein Lyrikdebüt “prinzenbad” im ELIF Verlag.  \nSara Ehsan ist eine iranische Autorin und lebt in Karlsruhe. Ihr Schwerpunkt liegt auf Lyrik\, Kurzprosa und Theaterstücken. Ihr Werk wurde in vier Gedichtbänden sowie in zahlreichen Literaturzeitschriften und Anthologien veröffentlicht. Es wurde ins Englische\, Schwedische und Serbische übersetzt. Sara arbeitet auch als Dolmetscherin/Übersetzerin und Antidiskriminierungsberaterin. Sie gibt Schreibworkshops für BIPoC-Frauen und Student*innen.   \nKondo Heller (she/they) ist ein*e kenianisch-deutsche*r Dichter*in\, Schriftsteller*in und experimentelle*r Filmemacher*in. Kondo ist Barbican Young Poet 18/19\, Stipendiat*in der Obsidian Foundation\, Ledbury Critic und Image Text Ithaca Junior Fellow. Momentan interessiert sich Kondo besonders für statischen Sound als Portal der Erinnerung\, der Gemeinschaft und des Archivs. Zurzeit studiert Kondo an der Cornell University den MFA in Poesie. \nLeman Sevda Darıcıoğlu (Berlin & Istanbul) ist ein*e Künstler*in\, der*die größtenteils im Bereich der Performance-Kunst arbeitet. Darıcıoğlu macht hauptsächlich lang andauernde Live-Performances\, aber auch Videos\, Installationen und öffentliche Interventionen. In den Performances untersucht Darıcıoğlu die physischen/emotionalen Grenzen\, Begrenzungen und Potenziale des Körpers. Ausgehend von diesem körperlichen Ansatz interessiert sich Darıcıoğlu für Chronopolitik und Nekropolitik aus einer Perspektive\, die die Verletzlichkeit und Stärke marginalisierter Körper in den Mittelpunkt stellt. Darıcıoğlu arbeitet an Queer-Aneignungsmethoden der Vergangenheit und der Gegenwart aus einer nicht-westlichen Perspektive und entwickelt körperliche Strategien\, um die Geschichte von Minderheitengruppen anzusprechen\, die von der hegemonialen Geschichte ausgeschlossen sind. \nAkinbode Akinbiyi wurde als Sohn nigerianischer Eltern in Oxford\, England\, geboren. Er ging in Nigeria\, England und Deutschland zur Schule und studierte an der Universität Ibadan Englisch (B.A.). Akinbode arbeitet seit 1977 als freiberuflicher Fotograf. Im Jahr 1987 erhielt er ein STERN-Reportagestipendium\, um in den Städten Lagos\, Kano und Dakar zu arbeiten. Im Jahr 1993 war Akinbiyi Mitbegründer von UMZANZSI\, einem Kulturzentrum in Clermont Township in Durban\, Südafrika. Akinbiyis fotografischer Schwerpunkt liegt auf großen\, sich ausbreitenden Megastädten. Er wandert und schlängelt sich über die Autobahnen und Nebenstraßen\, um die moderne Metropole zu verstehen und sich mit ihr auseinanderzusetzen. Er wandert und arbeitet vor allem in und auf den vier großen afrikanischen Städten Lagos\, Kairo\, Kinshasa und Johannesburg\, streift aber auch durch andere Großstädte wie Khartum\, Addis Abeba\, Dakar und Bamako\, um nur einige zu nennen. Auch europäische\, nord- und südamerikanische Städte sind wichtige Ziele: kürzlich besuchte er Sao Paulo und 2019 Chicago. \nOxana Chi ist eine deutsch-nigerianische Choreographin\, Tänzerin\, Filmemacherin\, Kuratorin\, und Pädagogin. In ihrer Kunst verschmelzen die Gegenwart und ihre spürbaren Verbindungen zur Vergangenheit und Zukunft. Ihr Repertoire umfasst 20 Produktionen\, die international aufgeführt wurden.  Zu ihren Auszeichnungen zählen u.a. AIR at Abrons Arts Center\, Ambassador of Peace bei DOSHIMA und “A to Z of People Who Power The Dance World” (The Dance Enthusiast’s). Sie kuratierte Events für Schauspiel Dortmund\, Transitions Festival Berlin (Dagesh)\, und International Human Rights Art Festival New York\, u.a. Als Mentorin begleitet und bestärkt sie junge Tanzschaffende und war 2022 Guest Choreographin im Studiengang Choreographie bei der New York University. \nDr. Layla Zami ist interdisziplinäre Akademikerin und Künstlerin. Sie wurde in Paris geboren und schöpft Inspiration aus ihrem afro-karibisch-indischen und jüdisch-deutsch-russischen kulturellen Erbe. Als Resident Artist mit Oxana Chi Dance & Art kreiert und performt sie Musik\, Spoken Words und Theater. Poetisch-politisch verarbeitet und vermittelt sie Themen wie Erinnerung\, Diaspora und Zugehörigkeit. Sie ist wiss. Mitarbeiterin am Institut für Theaterwissenschaft (FU Berlin) und Adj. In Gedenken an den 60. Jahrestag der Unabhängigkeit Algeriens von Frankreich würdigt “Moudjahidate* – women*\, resistance\, queer alliance” das Engagement von Kämpferinnen* im Kampf um Freiheit und Autonomie für ihr Volk und sich selbst. Für die Welt und vor allem Brasilien\, da dort gewählt wird. \nESRAordínaer* & Freund*innen nehmen den Tag zum Anlass\, um im Rahmen eines Queer-Kunst-Events die Sichtbarkeit des derzeitigen Martyriums von LGBTIQ+ Menschen ins Blickfeld zu rücken! \nGezeigt wird eine interaktive Collage aus Video\, Tanz und Theaterelementen. Die Performance "Am Arsch" von ESRAordínaer* thematisiert die emotionale wie rationale Reise\, die sich mit dem Ich\, dem Anderen sowie der Gesellschaft beschäftigt. \nZudem wird es eine Vorführung des Dokumentarfilms "Indianara" (Regie: Aude Chevalier-Beaumel\, Marcelo Barbosa\, 2019) geben. Prince Emrah ist Mutter eines Künstler*innenkollektivs namens "House of Royals"\, das einen Raum für BIPOC LGBTQIA+ Asylsuchende und Geflüchtete aus Syrien\, Palästina\, Malaysia\, Libyen und anderen Ländern bietet. \nInstagram \n_TUKIE VANIDA \nMultitalentierte Künstlerin und Performerin\, die ihren eigenen Bewegungsstil hat. Sie tritt mit ihrer Leidenschaft für eine Fusion zwischen Zirkusstil und darstellender Kunst auf. \nInstagram \n_Alfreya Chinita \neine Krankenschwester und Drag queen aus den Philippinen\, die nach Deutschland kam\, um ihr Potential als Entertainerin durch die Kunst des Drag zu erforschen. Aufgepasst\, die Adobo Königin ist hier\, und es wird scharf! \nInstagram  \n_Najib Faizi \nist eine echte afghanische Königin\, geflüchtet\, und lebt jetzt in Hamburg lebt. Er arbeitet unermüdlich als Aktivist für LGBTQ+ -Rechte und lässt seine Wut in Tanzbewegungen und Lipsyncs auf der Bühne raus. Er ist außerdem Maskenbildner\, Designer\, Tänzer und erfahrener Krankenpfleger - ein echter Performer im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes. Seht zu\, wie er sich aus einem schlechten Tag heraus tanzt! \nInstagram  \n_Maria Asskaf  \n(syrisch/deutsch) ist eine bekannte und geschätzte Bauchtanzkünstlerin und -lehrerin aus dem Norden Deutschlands\, und lebt in Berlin. Sie war viele Jahre lang Tänzerin und Choreografin im berühmten Madi Varieté Theater\, trat national/international in allen möglichen Clubs\, Shows und im Fernsehen auf und organisierte ihre eigenen Tanzpartys "Wahda&Nos" mit Live Band. \nMaria begann mit 9 Jahren mit dem Bauchtanz – und ist immer noch süchtig. Sie kombiniert sanfte\, erdige Bewegungen mit ihrer ganz eigenen femininen und eleganten Bühnenpräsenz und liebt es\, ihr Wissen in Kursen und Workshops weiterzugeben\, um ein inneres Gleichgewicht\, ein besseres Verständnis und einen stärkeren Körper zu schaffen. \nInstagram \n_Suryani  \ngibt mit der "Black & Brown Cabaret Dinner Show" ihr Auftrittsdebüt. Seit sie vor einigen Jahren in Berlin angekommen ist\, hat sie vielen anderen\, die wie sie geflüchtet und asylsuchendene Transfrauen aus Malaysia sind\, geholfen. Ihre Unterstützung endete nicht damit\, dass sie ihnen mit Papierkram und Beratung half: Sie war auch Backgroundtänzerin für ihre Freund*innen. Auch sie ist Teil von QueerBerg und wir sind überglücklich\, Suryanis Solo-Show in unserer Cabaret-Show zu haben! \nInstagram  \n_MF Akynos \nTHE INCREDIBLE\, EDIBLE\, AKYNOS\, alias M.F. AKYNOS (MFA)\, ist eine multidisziplinäre Stripperin. Beeinflusst von afrikanischem Tanz\, der Schwarzen Diaspora\, Popmusik und dem womxn Geist von S*x Workers\, geht es in Akynos' Arbeit darum\, das Patriarchat auf den Kopf zu stellen und ihre eigenen Bedingungen dafür festzulegen\, was es bedeutet\, eine Frau in einem Schwarzen Körper zu sein. \nSie wurde in zahlreichen internationalen Magazinen vorgestellt. Sie war auch die Kunstkoordinatorin der Desiree Alliance Conference (2014-2016) und leitete die Kunst-Aktion während des größten Straßenprotests seit Bestehen der Konferenz in New Orleans\, LA 2016. \n2018 gründete sie ihre eigene Organisation - "The Black S*x Worker Collective" - als Antwort auf die strengen Sexarbeiter*innengesetze in den USA. Sie lebt heute in Berlin. \nInstagram  \n_Nova Duh! \n"Ich bin Nova Duh! aus Mexiko\, ich bin eine lateinamerikanische queere Künstlerin und Gestalterin von Multimedia-Inhalten. Meine Hauptbotschaft ist die Wiederherstellung der Macht der Nacktheit unserer delinquenten Körper gegenüber den konservativen lateinamerikanischen Gesellschaften." \nInstagram  \n_Säye Skye \nSÄYE SKYE ist eine transgender iranischer Rap-Künstler und LGBTQ-Aktivist\, der an der Spitze einer neuen\, im sozialen Bewusstsein verwurzelten Hip-Hop-Bewegung steht. \nSÄYE SKYE\, der heute in Toronto lebt\, wurde im Iran ins Exil gezwungen\, weil er als erster offen über die iranische LGBTQ+-Community und ihre Kämpfe sprach. \nSÄYE SKYE hat kürzlich die Musik für die preisgekrönte kanadische Queer-Fernsehshow "Sort Of" komponiert\, die im November 2021 auf HBO MAX ausgestrahlt wurde. Sein Soundtrack "Sommerfest" und seine Instrumentalkompositionen für den preisgekrönten deutschen Film "Futur Drei" brachten ihm 2020 seine erste Musikpreis-Nominierung beim Preis der Deutschen Filmkritik ein. \nInstagram  \n_Julie Dancer \nJulie Dancer\, 31 Jahre alt\, kommt aus Malaysia und lebt derzeit in Berlin. Sie hat 13 Jahre Bühnenerfahrung als Performerin und Tänzerin und ist spezialisiert auf klassischen indischen und Bollywood-Tanz.\nSie ist in vielen Queerberg Clubs und Partys aufgetreten und hat sich zu einer der Hauptdarstellerinnen von Queeberg entwickelt. \nSie arbeitet daran\, Räume anzubieten\, in denen sie ihr Handwerk unterrichten kann\, insbesondere für andere transsexuelle und geflüchtete Neuankömmlinge. \n_Queerberg Collective  \nist ein von House Of Royals gegründetes Kollektiv. Wir kommen aus so vielen verschiedenen Ländern und Kulturen. Es begann mit geflüchteten Performer*innen\, um ihnen Raum zu geben\, ihre Kunst auszudrücken\, da es für sie aus verschiedenen Gründen wie Sprachschwierigkeiten\, Rassismus usw. schwierig war. Als Gruppe von Geflüchteten haben sie auch eine tiefe mentale Verbindung und ein tiefes Verständnis füreinander\, und verbinden sich über ihr Trauma\, da sie einen ähnlichen Hintergrund haben. Obwohl die meisten von ihnen ihre Familien verloren haben\, haben sie immer noch die Möglichkeit\, sich gegenseitig zu unterstützen. Und dank der vielen Orte\, die sie unterstützen und bestätigen\, sind sie gewachsen und haben es so weit gebracht.  \nInstagram  \n
