SUMMARY:Tiny OyoUnity @ Oyoun | Pop-Up Event: Alejandra Alarcón Bautista – Dreaming of Water
DESCRIPTION:Tiny Oyounity presents:\n'Dreaming of Water' - an interactive sound installation by Alejandra Alarcón Bautista \n*** \nFrom late August to mid-October\, our Tiny House travels through Berlin districts\, engaging interactively with the local community and partners at cultural venues and institutions. Through a diverse range of workshops\, the aim is to connect decolonial knowledge and artistic practices with marketing\, design\, and knowledge dissemination. \nSecond stop: @ Oyoun (Lucy-Lameck-Str. 32\, 12049 Berlin) \n*** \nDue to the war and energy shortages\, Germany has opted to increase coal importation from Colombia to improve its energy supply. El Cerrejón is the largest open-pit coal mine in South America\, located in Colombia\, where all the coal for Germany is exploited. Unfortunately\, the extraction of this raw material has not only severely decimated the local people displacing them from their land and their human rights\, but also displacing entire rivers and polluted water sources in one of the most arid areas of the country. What is the actual price of Germany's industrial progress? \nDreaming of Water is a small interactive sound installation of coal stones connected to a Midi sound system. As the artist and the audience interact with the rocks\, different water sounds will resonate to create a soundscape referring to the rivers and natural resources now destroyed by coal mining. It is a confrontation to discuss under which conditions Berlin and Germany manage to perpetuate their development. \nTickets: Free admission\nLocation: Oyoun\nLanguage: English \n \nBiography \nAlejandra Alarcón Bautista \nAlejandra was born and raised in Bogotá\, where she got a degree in fine arts at Universidad Nacional de Colombia. In 2013 she won a DAAD-ISAP exchange scholarship and studied Arts & New Media at the Kunsthochschule für Medien-köln. Alejandra moved to Germany in 2017 to continue her studies in scenography and exhibition design at TU Berlin\, where she obtained an M.A. degree. She was a scholarship holder of Sentasverwaltung für Kultur und Europa between 2020/22 and has collaborated with other artists and musicians in many art festivals and independent projects around Germany. \nHer artwork focuses on the design of physical and virtual places using different media. How is the space built? With this question emerged her interest in developing immersive narratives and stimulating constructive criticism. The scenographic element is significant in her work because it allows her to integrate all media: Video\, sound\, color\, light\, and various objects. Therefore\, Alejandra's artwork ranges from scenographic installations to 3D soundscapes. \nInstagram \nThe project Tiny OyoUnity is part of the initiative DRAUSSENSTADT funded by the Berliner Projektfonds Urbane Praxis and the Senatsverwaltung für Kultur und Gesellschaftlichen Zusammenhalt. \nAccessibility: \nOyoun is constantly working to make access to all events offered in the building as barrier-free as possible. SUMMARY:Silent Performance | Pure: {Re}Search: An Intimacy with Nature
DESCRIPTION:{Re}Search: An intimacy with nature\, is an invitation into ceremony to heal the creative wounding\,while aiming to dismantle capitalistic weights that inform\, manipulate and burden the creative practice. An invitation for nature to intervene and advocate to re-imagine the practice as sacred and furthermore bridge the separation between our bodies and the great mother - calling in divine interventions through collaborative conversations with the nature within and without. \nA prayer..... \n....rooted in intuitive movement/embodiment\, projection mapping\, memories/dream catching\, deep listening\, installation\, vocal alchemy\, experimental sonics\, soundscaping and the audience as co-creators. \nTicket: 5-10 euros (donation based) \nRegistration: via e-mail pureclown@gmail.com \nLanguage: English \nDoors Open: 20:00 h | Start: 20:30 h \nNote: The event will be a silent gathering. People will be wearing headphones during the entire performance. \nBiography \nPure (She/They) is a mother first | Multidisciplinary Artist | Hydrofeminist | Environmentalist | Afrofuturist | Pansexual | Expressionist | Plant Based | Seeker | Alchemist \nAn evolving and ever-shifting entity\, cultivating their expansive creativity from unmasked shame and long endured implications of existing as a black\, femme bodied\, queer artist in a perpetual state of exile. Their body of work forms part of a self-healing meditation\, a process that they describe as intuitive and personal. Their environmentally informed practice seeks to challenge the anthropocentric belief that we are exempt from nature - in fact we are nature itself. Pure’s work concerns itself with the destruction of the natural world and the creative wounding\, both inflicted by capitalism. \n"I'm here to relive the black experience in honor of my lineage\, by using my art to dispute all oppression and bring focus to nature as collaborator\, mentor\, medicine... \nFeatured: \nRashida Burgarach\, Kyei- Mensch \nDavid Georgi\nZinhle Purity Mkhize\nPapa De  \nPure is a Martin Roth Initiative fellowship holder \nImage Design by Blk Banaana \nAccessibility: \nOyoun is constantly working to make access to all events offered in the building as barrier-free as possible. SUMMARY:Salah Saouli: Birds’ Symphony - Canticle of the Birds
DESCRIPTION:Installation mit 4-Kanal Sound \nWie vom 48 Stunden Neukölln-Festivalthema „kafayı yemek“ vorgeschlagen\, soll die Arbeit Birds’ Symphony – Canticle of the Birds den aktuellen Moment hinterfragen\, in dem alles auf den Kopf gestellt zu sein scheint.
