DESCRIPTION:Palestine Cinema Days 2023 \nAs international news outlets\, world leaders\, and major social media platforms are engaging in censorship and distorting the narrative\, all while perpetuating the dehumanization of Palestinians and their enduring suffering\, we extend our channels in support of "Palestine Cinema Days" Festival\, which was forcibly canceled. \n\nOne day after the somber anniversary of the Balfour Declaration\, observed on November 2nd\, and in an effort to amplify Palestinian voices\, on November 3rd we are screening “Stitching Palestine” directed by Carol Mansour at 6:00 pm and “The Tale of the Three Jewels” directed by Michel Khleifi from 8:00 pm. at Oyoun.\, Berlin\, Germany. Through their stories\, the individual weaves into the collective\, yet remaining distinctly personal. Twelve women\, twelve life-spans and stories from Palestine; a land whose position was fixed on the map of the world\, but is now embroidered on its face. \nFilm 2: The Tale of the Three Jewels by Michel Khleifi  (1995)| Arabic with English subtitles \nOne day\, as he is bird-hunting\, he becomes the hero of a modern-day tale: Yussef falls in love with Aida. DESCRIPTION:*Bitte beachtet\, dass die Veranstaltung nicht im Oyoun\, sondern in Sarajevo stattfindet.* \nDie Genozide der 1990er Jahre an Tutsis und Bosniaken erschütterten die Welt – und zählen bis heute zu den blutigsten Ereignissen der modernen Geschichte. \nAus der gelebten Realität von Trauma\, Krieg\, Ausgrenzung und Exil entstand das transnationale dokumentarisches Musiktheater UN:IMAGINABLE - our histories in conversation\, welches verschiedene Formen der Heilung in den Bereichen von sich wiederholender Geschichte\, Krieg\, Genozid und Leben in der Diaspora erforscht. \nNach intensiven\, gemeinsam erlebten Wochen des Teilens\, des Austauschs und des Lernens von mehr als 20 Menschen aus sechs Ländern feierte UN:IMAGINABLE - our histories im Mai 2022 seine Premiere bei uns im Oyoun. Im Juli 2022 wurde dieses multimediale und analoge Erlebnis\, in dem zutiefst menschliche Geschichten erzählt werden\, im Rahmen des Ubumuntu Arts Festival im Genocide Memorial Kigali aufgeführt. \nNun setzt es seine Reise nach Sarajevo\, Bosnien-Herzegowina\, fort. Dort wird die Verfilmung von UN:IMAGINABLE - our histories in conversation am 14.
