DESCRIPTION:This 16th of February is the second anniversary of Emilia Bau´s murder. \nThis evening is dedicated to honour the memory of Emilia Bau and the inspiring legacy she left to us with her life choices\, convictions and strength by screening a 20 minutes documentary that gives a glance on who she was\, the force of her spirit and the circumstances of her death. After the documentary there will be space for discussion and questions. This is the first time this documentary is being shown to the public.  \nEmilia Bau was -among other things- a trans woman\, ecotransfeminist\, animal rights activist\, defender of indigenous territories\, anti-capitalist. She was murdered by hitmen hired by businessmen on February 16th\, 2021\, in a Mapuche land reclamation in southern Chile. She was murdered for defending her people\, the forest\, the waters\, for standing firm against the exploitation of all beings.
