DESCRIPTION:As part of The Path's programme\, the rapper Ebow (@ebow.mp3) will present a special performance of her tracks at the installation site at Tempelhofer Feld. \nWe are looking forward to seeing you! \n// Event Start 18:30 \nRegister for your free ticket to take part here \n  \nAbout Ebow: \nSolo\, but also as a member of the Gaddafi Gals\, EBOW raps against sexism\, racism and homophobia. In 2013 her debut album “Ebow” was released on Disko B. In 2017 “Komplexität” followed\, Ebow’s first album on Problembär Records/Seayou Entertainment and a record\, that takes the diversity of our society into account. \nHer latest album “K4L” (“Kanak 4 Life”\, released on March 29\, 2019) is dedicated to communities and family (K4L)\, friends (Slang)\, the queer community (Butterflies) or the experiences of migration (AMK). \nPhoto by Joanna Legid \n*** \nTHE PATH: A Participatory Public Art Project \nThe Path is an interdisciplinary project that problematizes the relationship between metropole and the individual from queer and feminist perspectives. The project consists of an art installation at Tempelhofer Feld\, an exhibition at Oyoun\, and a series of events at and between both locations. The title of the project originates from Umut Azad Akkel ́s multidimensional artwork with the same title that will be exhibited through the project. \nCan the metropole also contain us during the whole migration wave\, gentrification\, and rapid urban transformation? What if the paths that we walk every day start from nowhere and lead nowhere? Is what we experience a coexistence or an ́otherness ́ with a potential? What are the results\, alternatives\, solutions\, and what can be the role of art in this process? \nSee the full programme of THE PATH here \nThe Path project was produced by Oyoun in collaboration with Umut Azad Akkel (IG: @azadonfires) as artist\, artistic director\, and co-curator\, Şehnaz Layıkel (IG: @sehnazlayikel) as co-curator and Pegah Keshmirshekan (IG: @pegah.keshmir) and Ilgaz Yalçınoğlu (IG: @ilgazyalcinoglu) as event coordinators.
