DESCRIPTION:In Zusammenarbeit zwischen der MENA Art Gallery\, dem Oyoun und AL Berlin wird "Tales of a Gully" präsentiert\, ein faszinierendes Zusammenspiel zwischen Chaos und Kunst. \n"Tales of a Gully" ist eine Fotoausstellung von Antoine Antabi\, die es wagt\, unsere Wahrnehmung des Alltäglichen durch eine Linse\, die über den gewöhnlichen Straßen schwebt\, neu zu definieren. Mit Drohnenaufnahmen\, die Gullys und ihre verschlungenen Muster einfangen\, taucht Antoine in seinen Fotos tief in die Philosophie der Löcher\, des Zufalls und der bemerkenswerten Ähnlichkeit des Wesens des Gullys mit der uns umgebenden Welt ein. \nIn unseren geschäftigen Städten werden Gullys oft nicht beachtet\, sie werden als bloße Lücken in der Landschaft wahrgenommen\, als unbedeutende Unterbrechungen unserer täglichen Fahrten. Die Mitglieder bemühen sich\, Treffpunkte zu schaffen\, um Menschen durch Kunst\, Musik\, verschiedene Methoden der Wissensproduktion und sinnliche Erfahrungen mit dem zeitgenössischen Moment der Region Westasien und Nordafrika (WANA) zu verbinden. Dies gilt sowohl für die geografische Region selbst als auch für ihre verschiedenen Diasporas. Wir hoffen\, dass wir zu den zahlreichen Bemühungen\, einen politisch freien Moment für die Region\, für Berlin\, Europa und die ganze Welt zu schaffen\, beitragen können\, indem wir diese kulturelle Verbindung zwischen Berlin und der Region als Ausgangspunkt für unsere Reise in die Welt nutzen. \nAntoine Antabi (Fotograf) \nAntoine ist nicht nur ein professioneller Fotograf und Videofilmer\, sondern auch ein Stop-Motion-Filmemacher. Seine Reise mit Stop-Motion begann mit seinem Abschlussprojekt an der Universität im Jahr 2006 und dauert bis heute an. Er hat drei Kurzfilme und eine Sammlung von Kooperations- und Studentenprojekten erstellt. Stop-Motion ist seine Leidenschaft\, und im letzten Jahr hat er seinen 9-minütigen Film "Rest in Piece" fertiggestellt\, der an 25. Bei dieser außergewöhnlichen Veranstaltungsreihe treten Dichter*innen\, Kurzfilmemacher*innen\, Tänzer*innen\, Musiker*innen und lyrisch begabte Künstler*innen auf.\nLasst euch von einer Reihe außergewöhnlicher Talente verzaubern\, in denen sich gefühlvolle Wortschmiede\, Musiker*innen und Geschichtenerzähler*innen vereinen. Im Jahr 2007 gewann sie den legendären Nuyorican Poet's Cafe Grand Slam Poetry Award. Ihre erste vollständige Gedichtsammlung mit dem Titel "my mother was a freedom fighter" ist ein Zeugnis für alle Mütter\, Frauen und Mädchen\, die darum kämpfen\, zu leben\, zu lieben und sich frei in der Welt zu bewegen. Die Gedichte von Aja Monet sind ein Werk der Schwerkraft. Ihr Werk bewegt sich ständig zwischen dem Ursprung und dem Ergebnis und lässt beide ineinander übergehen. Auf ihrem Debütalbum\,"when the poems do what they do"\, sehen wir ihr unermüdliches Engagement zu sprechen. Die thematischen Ursprünge dieses Albums drehen sich zuweilen um den Widerstand der Schwarzen\, die Liebe und die unerschöpfliche Suche nach Freude. \nAls Community-Organisatorin\, Dichterin und Pädagogin bewegt sich Aja Monet zwischen den Medien\, wobei jedes einzelne ein Element ihres Schreibens ist. Organisation und Aktivismus manifestieren sich als Teil eines Prozesses der Befreiung\, wobei die Gedichte\, die Musik und die Kunst als Schreiber der Zeit dienen. Aufbauend auf oratorischen Traditionen ist Aja der Kanal\, durch den sich ihre Vorgängerinnen bewegen. Zu jeder Zeit findet man den revolutionären Geist von Audre Lorde und den Last Poets\, man spürt June Jordan\, Amiri Baraka\, Jayne Cortez und sogar die ausdrucksstarke Flüchtigkeit einer vorbeiziehenden Blue Note. \nInstagram\nWebsite \nYarah Bravo (Spezial Gast) \nYarah Bravo ist eine Singer-Songwriterin\, Rapperin\, Dichterin und Beatmakerin. Bravo wurde als Tochter einer chilenischen Mutter und eines brasilianischen Vaters geboren\, die als politische Flüchtlinge nach Schweden kamen. Sie singt und rappt auf Englisch\, Schwedisch und Spanisch. Am bekanntesten ist sie für den Song Bluebird mit der Gruppe One Self und für ihre EPs Love Is The Movement und Good Girls Rarely Make History. Bravo war einer der MCs der Gruppe One Self\, neben BluRum13. Ihr Debütalbum erschien 2005 unter dem Titel Children of Possibility bei der Plattenfirma Ninja Tune. \nInstagram \nLayla Zami (Poetin/Musikerin) \nLayla Zami ist eine interdisziplinäre Künstlerin und Akademikerin. Als Resident Artist bei Oxana Chi Dance & Art kreiert und performt Zami multiinstrumentale Musik\, Klänge\, gesprochene Worte und physisches Theater. Das Duo tourt international und hat kürzlich ein Auftragswerk für The Kitchen NYC geschaffen. Dr. Zami ist derzeit Postdoktorandin im Bereich Performance Studies an der Freien Universität Berlin. Sie war Fakultätsmitglied und Co-Vorsitzende von Black Lives Matter am Pratt Institute in Brooklyn\, NY. \nInstagram \nSami El-Ali (Poet) \nSami El-Ali ist 32 Jahre alt und durch und durch ein 90s Kid. Geboren und aufgewachsen in Berlin\, wo er auch als Straßensozialarbeiter im Bezirk Wedding arbeitet. Im Jahr 2012 begann er unter dem Künstlernamen Sami El Poet mit Poetry Slamming und gewann 6 Jahre in Folge eine Meisterschaft nach der anderen. Wer Sami und seine Kunst zum ersten Mal hört\, ist fasziniert von den Emotionen\, die er mit dem Jonglieren mit Worten hervorrufen kann. \nYemi Osokoya (Filmemacher) \nYemi Osokoya ist ein Choreograf\, Organisator für inklusive Gemeinschaften und Filmemacher aus Lagos\, Nigeria. Anders als ursprünglich geplant\, wurde das ursprüngliche Programm für eine Jubiläumsfeier der aktuellen Situation angepasst. DESCRIPTION:Eine Ausstellung mit den diesjährigen Eindrücken von Oyoun's Tiny House auf Tour\n\nNach einer Reise an fünf verschiedene Berliner Kulturorte und mit einem Angebot von insgesamt über 34 verschiedenen Veranstaltungen und Workshops im Laufe von fünf Wochen wurde Oyouns Tiny House zu einem nomadischen Treffpunkt\, um gemeinsam zu erschaffen und weniger bekannte Ecken Berlins zu erforschen. \nExperience Oyounity bietet nun die Möglichkeit sich durch eine multimediale Ausstellung eine Vorstellung von der aufregenden Reise des Tiny House zu verschaffen. Von Fotos\, Videos\, künstlerische Objekten\, Ton und Sprache bis hin zur Möglichkeit\, selbst Dinge zu schaffen\, wurde ein Gefühl von Gemeinschaft durch das kollektive Kreieren freigesetzt. Die Workshops verbindet besonders dieser kollaborative Aspekt der Veranstaltungen. \nWir freuen uns sehr\, euch zur Eröffnung dieser Gruppenausstellung einzuladen\, in der wir eine immersive Erfahrung der Tiny House Tour bieten. \nWenn Ihr das Oyoun betretet\, habt Ihr direkt die Möglichkeit mit Maurice Leoni-Osion und Linda Hamoui an dieser Ausstellung mitzuwirken\, indem ihr in den beiden Telefonzellen\, die auf beiden Seiten des Eingangs des Gebäudes ausgestellt sind\, einen Einblick in ihre Workshops erhaltet. Folgt ihr den Pfeilen zum Foyer im ersten Stock\, werdet ihr von den vielen fotografischen Aspekten der Reise von Tiny Oyounity begrüßt\, welche eine Sammlung von Werken der zahlreichen Teilnehmenden der vom Kollektiv Queer Analog Darkroom angebotenen Workshops darstellt. Sammy Scott\, Stella Rae Binion & Maurice Leoni-Osion arbeiten zusammen\, um euch einen ruhigen Rückzugsort zu bieten\, an dem ihr euch in der Poesie von Bild\, Ton und Stimme verlieren könnt. Bei Experience Oyounity geht es vor allem darum\, einen Raum miteinander zu teilen. Deshalb wird es am Eröffnungsabend einen Ort geben\, an dem ihr euch unter die Leute mischen\, tanzen\, einen Drink genießen und den Eindrücken der Workshop-Moderator*innen direkt zuhören könnt. Spart euch auf dem Weg nach Hause etwas mehr Zeit ein\, um das Tiny House auf dem Parkplatz von Oyoun zu betreten. Podcasting in einem antirassistischen/aktivistischen Kontext" ermöglichte es den Teilnehmenden\, Podcasts und die Möglichkeiten der Informationsverbreitung zu verstehen und zu nutzen. \nMaurice Leoni-Osions "The Home ReMixtape Archives"-Workshops waren eine Hommage an das Konzept von Heimat und Gemeinschaft\, in dem verschiedene kreative Methoden zur gemeinsamen Erstellung von Mixtapes eingesetzt wurden\, die das Gefühl von Vertrautheit und Zugehörigkeit vermittelten. \nSammy Scott & Stella Rae Bins "The Impossible Project" befasste sich mit den Unterschieden zwischen schwarzer Repräsentation und schwarzer Visualität. Indem sie sich dem normativen\, präskriptiven und fetischisierenden (weißen) Blick verweigerten\, feierten sie die Behauptung ihrer Handlungsfähigkeit und Vorstellungskraft als Schwarze Bildermacher. \nLey Mauthofer & Ana Uebachs "Let's Get Chemical"-Workshop ermöglichte es den Teilnehmenden\, gemeinsam in die Tiefen analoger fotografischer Praktiken abzutauchen und sich mit der Entwicklung ihrer eigenen Schwarz-Weiß-Filmrolle vertraut zu machen. \nSophie Klockenbusch und Jasper J. Maurer haben zwei Workshops – “Seeing Yourself: Queer Self-Portraits” und “Seeing others: Queer Portraits” – angeboten\, die queere Identitäten feiern und die Bedeutung ihrer Darstellung in der Fotografie mit einer Einführung in Porträts und Selbstporträts hervorheben. \nLaura Jaburek Otegui zeigte den Teilnehmenden im Workshop “Urban Journey: Exploring Neighborhoods Through Pinhole Photography”\, wie sie gemeinsam eine Streichholzschachtelkamera bauen können\, und verdeutlichte dabei\, dass die Kamera selbst ein künstlerisches Objekt ist\, das das Licht nutzt\, und vermittelte ihren Sinn für Kreativität und ihr Können in der Lochkamera-Fotografie. \nDiese Ausstellung wurde von den Leitenden der Workshops und von Queer Analog Darkroom kuratiert\, einem selbstorganisierten Kollektiv für analoge Fotografie in Berlin\, das einen Schwerpunkt darauf legt\, eigene Fähigkeiten mit anderen zu teilen. \nAccessibility: \nDas Oyoun arbeitet stetig an einem möglichst barrierefreien Zugang zu allen Veranstaltungen\, die im Haus angeboten werden. DESCRIPTION:Konzert zur Feier des 50. Jubiläums zum Fall der Diktatur in Griechenland. \nAm 17. November 1973 erreichte in Athen der Aufstand der im Polytechnikum verbarrikadierten Bürger*innen seinen Höhepunkt. Das war die erste massive und dynamische Manifestation der Bevölkerung in Griechenland gegen die Militärjunta\, die wenige Monate später\, am 24. DESCRIPTION:Die Veranstaltung ist ausschließlich für FLINTA* und BIPoC. \nDaMigra läd euch zu einem Filmnachmittag ein. Gemeinsam mit euch wollen sie mit dem Dokumentarfilm der afrodeutschen Filmmacherin Mo Asumang „Die Arier“ (2014) auf die Suche nach den Ursprüngen des Arier-Begriffs machen und verstehen\, wie der Begriff bis heute von Rechtsextremen in Deutschland und den USA missbraucht wird. \nIn diesem preisgekrönten Dokumentarfilm zeigt Mo Asumang\, wieso ein besseres Verständnis der Geschichte für alle wichtig ist. Sie reist zu den wahren Ariern in den Iran und auch in die USA\, wo sie sich mit Rassisten trifft. Sie geht zu rechtsradikalen Demonstrationen\, um mit den Teilnehmer*innen zu sprechen: Sie möchte herausfinden\, warum Menschen rassistisch ausgegrenzt werden. \nMo Asumang benennt rassistische Kategorisierung\, Stereotype und Vorurteile und zeigt auf\, was uns hilft Rassismus entgegenzutreten. DESCRIPTION:Eine Ausstellung mit den diesjährigen Eindrücken von Oyoun's Tiny House auf Tour\n\nNach einer Reise an fünf verschiedene Berliner Kulturorte und mit einem Angebot von insgesamt über 34 verschiedenen Veranstaltungen und Workshops im Laufe von fünf Wochen wurde Oyouns Tiny House zu einem nomadischen Treffpunkt\, um gemeinsam zu erschaffen und weniger bekannte Ecken Berlins zu erforschen. \nExperience Oyounity bietet nun die Möglichkeit sich durch eine multimediale Ausstellung eine Vorstellung von der aufregenden Reise des Tiny House zu verschaffen. Von Fotos\, Videos\, künstlerische Objekten\, Ton und Sprache bis hin zur Möglichkeit\, selbst Dinge zu schaffen\, wurde ein Gefühl von Gemeinschaft durch das kollektive Kreieren freigesetzt. Die Workshops verbindet besonders dieser kollaborative Aspekt der Veranstaltungen. \nWir freuen uns sehr\, euch zur Eröffnung dieser Gruppenausstellung einzuladen\, in der wir eine immersive Erfahrung der Tiny House Tour bieten. \nWenn Ihr das Oyoun betretet\, habt Ihr direkt die Möglichkeit mit Maurice Leoni-Osion und Linda Hamoui an dieser Ausstellung mitzuwirken\, indem ihr in den beiden Telefonzellen\, die auf beiden Seiten des Eingangs des Gebäudes ausgestellt sind\, einen Einblick in ihre Workshops erhaltet. Folgt ihr den Pfeilen zum Foyer im ersten Stock\, werdet ihr von den vielen fotografischen Aspekten der Reise von Tiny Oyounity begrüßt\, welche eine Sammlung von Werken der zahlreichen Teilnehmenden der vom Kollektiv Queer Analog Darkroom angebotenen Workshops darstellt. Sammy Scott\, Stella Rae Binion & Maurice Leoni-Osion arbeiten zusammen\, um euch einen ruhigen Rückzugsort zu bieten\, an dem ihr euch in der Poesie von Bild\, Ton und Stimme verlieren könnt. Bei Experience Oyounity geht es vor allem darum\, einen Raum miteinander zu teilen. Deshalb wird es am Eröffnungsabend einen Ort geben\, an dem ihr euch unter die Leute mischen\, tanzen\, einen Drink genießen und den Eindrücken der Workshop-Moderator*innen direkt zuhören könnt. Spart euch auf dem Weg nach Hause etwas mehr Zeit ein\, um das Tiny House auf dem Parkplatz von Oyoun zu betreten. Podcasting in einem antirassistischen/aktivistischen Kontext" ermöglichte es den Teilnehmenden\, Podcasts und die Möglichkeiten der Informationsverbreitung zu verstehen und zu nutzen. \nMaurice Leoni-Osions "The Home ReMixtape Archives"-Workshops waren eine Hommage an das Konzept von Heimat und Gemeinschaft\, in dem verschiedene kreative Methoden zur gemeinsamen Erstellung von Mixtapes eingesetzt wurden\, die das Gefühl von Vertrautheit und Zugehörigkeit vermittelten. \nSammy Scott & Stella Rae Bins "The Impossible Project" befasste sich mit den Unterschieden zwischen schwarzer Repräsentation und schwarzer Visualität. Indem sie sich dem normativen\, präskriptiven und fetischisierenden (weißen) Blick verweigerten\, feierten sie die Behauptung ihrer Handlungsfähigkeit und Vorstellungskraft als Schwarze Bildermacher. \nLey Mauthofer & Ana Uebachs "Let's Get Chemical"-Workshop ermöglichte es den Teilnehmenden\, gemeinsam in die Tiefen analoger fotografischer Praktiken abzutauchen und sich mit der Entwicklung ihrer eigenen Schwarz-Weiß-Filmrolle vertraut zu machen. \nSophie Klockenbusch und Jasper J. Maurer haben zwei Workshops – “Seeing Yourself: Queer Self-Portraits” und “Seeing others: Queer Portraits” – angeboten\, die queere Identitäten feiern und die Bedeutung ihrer Darstellung in der Fotografie mit einer Einführung in Porträts und Selbstporträts hervorheben. \nLaura Jaburek Otegui zeigte den Teilnehmenden im Workshop “Urban Journey: Exploring Neighborhoods Through Pinhole Photography”\, wie sie gemeinsam eine Streichholzschachtelkamera bauen können\, und verdeutlichte dabei\, dass die Kamera selbst ein künstlerisches Objekt ist\, das das Licht nutzt\, und vermittelte ihren Sinn für Kreativität und ihr Können in der Lochkamera-Fotografie. \nDiese Ausstellung wurde von den Leitenden der Workshops und von Queer Analog Darkroom kuratiert\, einem selbstorganisierten Kollektiv für analoge Fotografie in Berlin\, das einen Schwerpunkt darauf legt\, eigene Fähigkeiten mit anderen zu teilen. \nAccessibility: \nDas Oyoun arbeitet stetig an einem möglichst barrierefreien Zugang zu allen Veranstaltungen\, die im Haus angeboten werden. DESCRIPTION:Der Verlust von Land\, die Suche nach Sicherheit und die Suche nach Raum für Trauer. \nDer Verlust von Land führt zu einem andauernden Trauerprozess. Das Bedürnis der betroffenen Menschen nach einem Ort\, an dem angemessen getrauert und Sicherheit gefunden werden kann\, ist groß.\nAuf der Suche nach Vertrautheit durch Menschen\, Erfahrungen und Sprache entsteht jedoch ein Teufelskreis aus unvollständiger Trauer und unbeantworteten Fragen.\nNachdem ihnen ihr Land beraubt wurde\, halten sich Menschen dort auf\, an dem zumindest die Geschichte des Landes weitergeführt und eine Vision als letzte Verbindung zu dem bewahrt werden kann\, was von dem Wesen übrig geblieben ist. \nDieses Konzept wirft die Frage nach Heimat und Zugehörigkeit auf\, eine Frage\, die untrennbar mit Freiheit\, Gerechtigkeit und Macht verbunden ist. \nDa diese Ausstellung Teil der Konferenz "Artificial intelligence and journalism in the Global South" ist\, sind Künstler*innen dazu eingeladen\, durch multimediale Beiträge Kunstwerke zu schaffen\, die KI-Werkzeuge in irgendeiner Form in ihren kreativen Prozess einbeziehen oder über sie reflektieren (indem sie sie verwenden\, sie kritisieren usw.).\nDenn KI ist ein unvermeidlich vorherrschendes Werkzeug bei der Gestaltung unserer Wahrnehmung der Realität. \nNach der Eröffung kann die Ausstellung vom 09.12. bis zum 15.12.2023\, täglich vn 10:00 h bis 18:00 h besucht werden. \nTicket: FREIER EINTRITT! \nSprache: Englisch + Arabisch \n  \nBiografien \nMENA Art Gallery \nMENA ist eine Online-Galerie\, deren Ziel es ist\, die lebendigste und einzigartigste Kunst des Nahen Ostens und Nordafrikas einer breiten Öffentlichkeit zugänglich zu machen. DESCRIPTION:Der Verlust von Land\, die Suche nach Sicherheit und die Suche nach Raum für Trauer. \nDer Verlust von Land führt zu einem andauernden Trauerprozess. Das Bedürnis der betroffenen Menschen nach einem Ort\, an dem angemessen getrauert und Sicherheit gefunden werden kann\, ist groß.\nAuf der Suche nach Vertrautheit durch Menschen\, Erfahrungen und Sprache entsteht jedoch ein Teufelskreis aus unvollständiger Trauer und unbeantworteten Fragen.\nNachdem ihnen ihr Land beraubt wurde\, halten sich Menschen dort auf\, an dem zumindest die Geschichte des Landes weitergeführt und eine Vision als letzte Verbindung zu dem bewahrt werden kann\, was von dem Wesen übrig geblieben ist. \nDieses Konzept wirft die Frage nach Heimat und Zugehörigkeit auf\, eine Frage\, die untrennbar mit Freiheit\, Gerechtigkeit und Macht verbunden ist. \nDa diese Ausstellung Teil der Konferenz "Artificial intelligence and journalism in the Global South" ist\, sind Künstler*innen dazu eingeladen\, durch multimediale Beiträge Kunstwerke zu schaffen\, die KI-Werkzeuge in irgendeiner Form in ihren kreativen Prozess einbeziehen oder über sie reflektieren (indem sie sie verwenden\, sie kritisieren usw.).\nDenn KI ist ein unvermeidlich vorherrschendes Werkzeug bei der Gestaltung unserer Wahrnehmung der Realität. \nIhr seid herzlich zur Eröffnung der Ausstellung am 08.12.2023 von 18:00 h bis 22:00 h eingeladen. \nTicket: FREIER EINTRITT! \nSprache: Englisch + Arabisch \n \nBiografien \nMENA Art Gallery \nMENA ist eine Online-Galerie\, deren Ziel es ist\, die lebendigste und einzigartigste Kunst des Nahen Ostens und Nordafrikas einer breiten Öffentlichkeit zugänglich zu machen. He is Communications Director for DiEM25\, a pan-European political movement. \n\nZoë Claire Miller \nZoë Claire Miller originally comes from Boston (USA) and today lives and works in Berlin. At the University of Heidelberg she studied philosophy\, anthropology and Romance studies before going to the University of the Arts in Berlin and the Art Academy in Karlsruhe. In 2010 she finished her studies in sculpture. Today she works as an artist\, curator and event organiser. Miller co-founded the Berlin Art Prize in 2012\, an independent award for artists in Berlin. In addition she was the director of the project spaces of Galerie Europa and Salon Mutlu from 2010 to 2014. In 2015 she was a member of the initiative AG Zeit\, which worked to improve cultural politics in Berlin. She is a member of the board at bbk Berlin (berufsverband bildender künstler*innen). In her role as a sculptor she mainly works with ceramics and is dedicated to questions of collaboration\, materiality and negative space. DESCRIPTION:Organised by Oyoun \nWith Jumoke Adeyanju\, Liaam Iman\, Qeas Pirzad\, AŸA + Batila  \nThis evening will gather a plethora of sonic voices. The concerts and spoken word performances will feature both artists close to Oyoun as well as new faces who are joining the session in solidarity with the current situation and as a sign of togetherness. \nLet's come together and dance! \nTickets: Donation-based\nRoom: Café\n \nBiographies \nJumoke Adeyanju\nJumoke Adeyanju is an interdisciplinary\, multilingual author\, curator and dancer. She occasionally performs as a vinyl selector and aspiring sound artist under her pseudonym mokeyanju. Jumoke is the founder of the Poetry Meets Series [est. 2014]\, co-curator of Sensitivities of Dance at SAVVY Contemporary and hosts her own radio show Sauti ya àkókò on Refuge Worldwide. She has presented her artistic work at international literary festivals\, performing in English\, German\, Kiswahili and Yorùbá. \nLiaam Iman\nLiaam Iman is a versatile vocalist\, composer\, percussionist and Reiki-practitioner of Algerian\, Kabyle descent. After graduating from Art school in 2012\, specialising in interactive performance and choreography they have been exploring the intersections between migration\, belonging and healing through music and performance. \nSince 2005\, they have performed and worked on a wide range of music\, theatre and art projects in many European countries and Tunisia where they won the music award at the International feminist festival Chouftouhonna 2017 for their solo act. They are currently based in Berlin and working on their solo debut Album. \nQeas Pirzad\nQeas Pirzad's art critically examines the construction of personalized realities. Born to Afghan parents in the Netherlands\, Pirzad adeptly navigates the juxtaposed realms within and outside his home. As a multidisciplinary artist\, Pirzad expresses his perception of reality through a diverse range of mediums\, encompassing oil on canvas\, digital collage\, poetry\, performance art\, music and spoken word. In his vision of reality\, he seamlessly embodies various facets of his life\, without the need to sacrifice one for another. This theme of multiplicity threads through Pirzad's entire body of work\, positioning him as a pioneer in the realm of "Afghan Futurism”. The otherworldly compositions of his projects invite viewers on an unrestricted visual voyage. His intention is for this journey to ignite moments of awakening in those who experience it. \nAŸA\nAŸA (Avia Shoshani) is a self-taught singer-songwriter\, producer & artist based in Berlin. Her composition combines a unique twist on her Moroccan and Yemeni roots with contemporary pop and r&b melodies. Growing up in an environment of political and personal crisis\, \nAŸA had no alternative but to put her struggles into her musical storytelling\, and she has so much to say. In each and every performance\, AŸA demonstrates a wide range of experience\, consistently delivering one-of-a-kind live adventures - taking audiences along for a very honest\, but magical journey. She found her voice while performing on the biggest world stages including Eurovision\, arenas filled with hundreds of thousands of people\, tv shows\, clubs\, circuses\, theaters\, star observatories\, and more. \nBatila\nBatila is a songwriter living in Berlin. He is the child of Congolese-Angolan parents and grew up between Berlin and London. Batila's music (Batila means protector) is "soulphisticated\, colourful and lively". Besides Congolese roots\, there is also a touch of R&B and soft\, jazzy vibes. DESCRIPTION:Organised by Jüdische Stimme + Pa_allies \nFilm screening followed by a talk by Dr. Anna-Esther Younes\, Salah Said (Pa_allies)\, Udi Raz (Jüdische Stimme) \nThe NGO "Breaking the Silence" - BtS for short - is made up of former Israeli servicemen and women who want to draw attention to everyday military life and the treatment of the population in the occupied territories by collecting personal memoirs. With her film\, director Silvina Landsmann provides a look behind the scenes of a controversial group with a controversial approach in the midst of a conflict that has been smouldering for over 70 years. \nWhat makes a good soldier? The ability to follow orders without scruples or the consideration of higher moral goals when dealing with the enemy? For many members of BtS\, the latter was only possible after their active military service. In their work\, they deal with missions and actions that seem wrong to them today. They address the Israeli population and foreign media with videos\, lectures and city tours. On the streets of Hebron\, there are repeated clashes between BtS\, Israeli settlers and the military. The organisation is also sharply criticised at a political level. It is accused of fabricating stories\, damaging Israel's reputation and playing into the hands of anti-Semitism. In 2016\, she received a summa cum laude for her PhD thesis “Race\, Colonialism and the Figure of the Jew in a New Germany” from IHEID (Geneva\, CH\, 2015). Younes defines her work through the (anthropological) concept of “researching home” and “researching up to power”. Younes also holds the position of a lay judge in Berlin's youth court and has founded and organized the Colloquium of Color in Berlin for several years. This verbatim play is based on a transcript of the dashcam recording of the unjust arrest of Sandra Bland in Texas in 2013\, which led to her untimely death in Police custody. The play was first performed at Bush Theatre\, London and Goodman Theatre Chicago\, by over 100 Black women and women of colour. Under which circumstances did they grew up and became the women* who brought our parents into the world? What am I driven and motivated by? Which ecosystems nurture and are needed to resources me? How to avoid activists burn out by myself and peers? How can we bear witness to the unbearable? \nThis workshop won’t answer all the questions\, but it brings us and the wealth of wisdom and experience together - the ones that have come before us and ourselves - in order to build endurance for the long term vision of dismantling imperialism and the various intersecting forms of oppressions. Trauma therapist Anna Hoffmann is convinced that trauma is always linked to systemic injustice and that it usually makes sense to approach it collectively.
