DESCRIPTION:Oyouns Tiny House geht auf Tour! \nZwischen Ende August und Mitte Oktober wandert unser Tiny House durch verschiedene Berliner Bezirke. Für jeweils eine Woche halten wir an verschiedenen Kulturorten und -institutionen und interagieren mit dem umliegenden urbanen Raum\, der Nachbarschaft und den örtlichen Partner*innen. \nDas Tiny House wird von Montag\, den 4.9. bis Sonntag\, den 10.9. auf dem Parkplatz vor dem Oyoun (Lucy-Lameck-Straße 32\, 12049 Berlin) in Neukölln stehen. \nEuch erwartet ein umfangreiches Programm mit wiederkehrenden Workshops zu den Themen Podcasting mit Hamam Talk\, Mixtaping mit Maurice Leoni-Osion und Fotografie mit Queer Analog Darkroom\, sowie Pop-up Ausstellungen und Performances: \n--- \nMo 4.9.\, 15:00-18:00 h\n⇒ Workshop | “The Home ReMixtape Artchives”\nw/ Maurice Leoni-Osion \nFür viele von uns ist Zuhause der Ort\, an dem wir geboren wurden\, leben\, genealogisch verwurzelt sind oder ein Gefühl der Zugehörigkeit aufbauen. Diese Definition von Zuhause wird jedoch nicht immer von einer breiteren Bevölkerung geteilt\, insbesondere nicht von marginalisierten Gemeinschaften\, die wie alle anderen für angeborene Geburtsrechte akzeptiert werden sollten\, um eine innere Struktur / Schutz zu bieten\, um Kulturen\, Sprachen\, geliebte Menschen\, Geschichten\, Träume\, Erinnerungen und Zukunft zu bewahren. \nDie Home ReMixtape Artchives sind eine Serie von Kunstworkshops\, die die Erstellung von Home-Mixtapes als archivarischen Ansatz nutzen\, um unerzählte Geschichten rund um die Erfahrung des Zuhauses zu dokumentieren\, zu schützen und zu bewahren. Die Teilnehmer*innen werden Mixed-Media\, Graff Writing\, Illustrationen\, Zeitlinien\, gefundene Klänge\, Interviews\, Audioaufnahmen\, Lieder und Musikproduktion erkunden\, um gemeinsam an einem Community-Mixtape zu arbeiten. Das Ziel besteht darin\, einen kreativen Raum für verschiedene Stimmen zu schaffen\, um ihre einzigartigen Geschichten zu erzählen\, während sie einen kohärenten Rhythmus untereinander finden\, der zukünftige Erzählungen aus ihren Nachbarschaften feiert. \nDie Workshops werden in einer interaktiven Ausstellung vom 16. bis 30. November 2023 im Oyoun gipfeln\, bei der die Öffentlichkeit Zugang zu den fünf Ausgaben der Mixtape-Reihe haben wird\, von denen jede ein Gemeinschaftsarchiv aus fünf Bezirken in ganz Berlin repräsentiert. \nTickets: Eintritt frei (Registrierung erforderlich) | Anmeldung hier (bis 3. September (15:00-19:00 Uhr) findet im Oyoun in Zusammenarbeit mit Queer Analog Darkroom ein 4-stündiger Workshop zur Entwicklung von Schwarz-Weiß-Filmen statt. \nDies ist das erste Mal\, dass die Dunkelkammer im Oyoun für die Öffentlichkeit geöffnet wird. Es besteht die Möglichkeit\, sich mit den chemischen Prozessen der Entwicklung eines Schwarz-Weiß-Films vertraut zu machen und sich dabei auf Elemente wie Licht\, Schatten\, Textur und Komposition zu konzentrieren. Jede*r Teilnehmer*in hat die Möglichkeit\, einen eigenen Film aufzunehmen und zu entwickeln. Die Zahl der Teilnehmer*innen ist auf 8 begrenzt. \nDie Filmentwicklung wird als eine Möglichkeit verstanden\, gemeinsam einen Schritt weg von der schnelllebigen digitalen Welt zu machen\, die die kapitalistische Anhäufung von Bildern fördert. Durch eine ausgewogene Mischung aus theoretischem Input und praktischen Übungen werden die Teilnehmer*innen in die Lage versetzt\, eigene Podcast-Episoden zu konzipieren\, aufzunehmen\, zu bearbeiten und zu präsentieren. El Cerrejón ist die größte Tagebau-Kohlemine in Südamerika\, die sich in Kolumbien befindet und in der sämtliche Kohle für Deutschland abgebaut wird. Leider hat die Förderung dieses Rohstoffs nicht nur die lokale Bevölkerung stark dezimiert\, indem sie von ihrem Land verdrängt und ihrer Menschenrechte beraubt wurde\, sondern auch ganze Flüsse umgeleitet und Wasserquellen in einer der trockensten Regionen des Landes verschmutzt. Was ist der eigentliche Preis für Deutschlands industriellen Fortschritt? \n"Dreaming of Water" ist eine kleine interaktive Klanginstallation aus Kohlesteinen\, die mit einem MIDI-Soundsystem verbunden sind. Während die Künstlerin und das Publikum mit den Steinen interagieren\, werden unterschiedliche Wasserklänge mitschwingen und eine Klanglandschaft erzeugen\, die auf die Flüsse und natürlichen Ressourcen verweist\, die nun durch den Kohlebergbau zerstört wurden. Instead of using regular methods or violence\, we're looking for different ways to challenge the unfair power of colonial economies that exploited people's work over time. Our upcoming workshop aims to share ideas and come up with new ones together. \nThis workshop marks our initiation with Oyoun MediaLab\, that offers opportunities to turn concepts into reality by establishing an independent ecosystem through cooperative creation. Oyoun MediaLab is equipped with diverse tools like a digital development station with Cloud Server\, IoT setup\, laser cutter\, CNC machine\, 3D printer\, and programmable sewing machine. These resources create a platform for exploration and allow the community to reshape their priorities together. \nAt the same time\, our workshop embodies the essence of a typical hacker workshop\, inviting everyone to participate\, regardless of their familiarity with hacker-space approaches. We want to explore hacking systems\, whether reimagining current ones or creating new solutions. Ihre Schwerpunkte lagen vor allem auf islamischem Recht\, Islamismus und Sexualität im Islam. \nIm Sommer 2020 gründete sie gemeinsam mit ihrer Freundin Sarah den Podcast „Hamam Talk“ in dem sie über Rassismus\, Politik\, Kultur\, Gesellschaft\, Identität und Sexualität spricht. Alles Themen\, die sie aufgrund ihrer eigenen syrischen Wurzeln schon lange begleitet haben. \nNeben ihrer Aufklärungsarbeit gibt sie auch Anti-Rassismus- und Podcast-Workshops. Linda arbeitet aktuell als Community Managerin beim ZDF und Moderatorin für das Format TLNT.TALK.BERLIN bei TLNT&TLNT e.V. \nSarah Farhatiar \nSarah Farhatiar ist in Freiburg im Breisgau geboren und wuchs dort auf. Sie absolvierte ihr Studium der Islamwissenschaften mit dem Schwerpunkt Zentral- und Südasien sowie Soziologie an der Otto-Friedrich-Universität Bamberg. Darüber hinaus erwarb sie einen Master in Global Studies an der Universität Basel. Während ihres Studiums konzentrierte sie sich insbesondere auf feministische Friedens- und Konfliktforschung sowie Migration. \nIm Sommer 2020 gründete Sarah gemeinsam mit ihrer Freundin Linda den Podcast "Hamam Talk"\, in dem sie über eine Vielzahl von Themen spricht\, darunter Rassismus\, Politik\, Kultur\, Gesellschaft\, Identität und Sexualität. DESCRIPTION:Harvesting Resilience – a workshop series by Zeren Oruc \nThis workshop series gives you the opportunity to rethink your relationship with nature\, food and consumption. You will be able to connect with different people in an exchange of skill\, knowledge and thoughts.  \nWhat is this workshop about? \nHarvesting Resilience workshops series are part of a long-term research project focusing on the food-land-culture relationship to examine the impact of our food production and consumption habits on the environment\, land degradation\, and forms of exploitation. Curated by Zeren Oruc\, the project looks at how we eat our land\, our cultural and emotional connection to food based on where it’s grown\, and less extractivist practices such as disappearing knowledge of foraging\, food banks\, gardens\, and more. \nBy using foraging and guerilla gardening in “community gardens” as one of the artistic and curatorial methodologies\, the workshops intend to decolonize and reclaim urban landscapes and ecological narratives from the lens of BIPOC and people with migration backgrounds. While tackling mainstream Western environmentalism that dismisses indigenous and migrant knowledge\, we want to relearn and share our knowledge in relation to the plant world and form new connections where we feel safe in nature. To facilitate the generation of this intergenerational and intercultural knowledge\, we invite participants to join us\, along with their elders*\, in remapping Berlin’s foraging paths and sharing their experiences. \nThe workshops will be guided by curator Zeren Oruc\, who is revisiting her place in gardening and foraging after relocating to Berlin\, and horticulturist\, forager\, herbalist\, and kochende Gärtnerin Lea Nassim Tajbakhsh. On the first day of the workshop\, we will go on a guided foraging tour where we get to know each other and share our knowledge. On the second day\, we will meet at Oyoun’s community garden for an intimate discussion about food\, and belonging in nature\, and revisit the idea of community gardens through guerilla gardening principles. El Cerrejón is the largest open-pit coal mine in South America\, located in Colombia\, where all the coal for Germany is exploited. Unfortunately\, the extraction of this raw material has not only severely decimated the local people displacing them from their land and their human rights\, but also displacing entire rivers and polluted water sources in one of the most arid areas of the country. What is the actual price of Germany's industrial progress? \nDreaming of Water is a small interactive sound installation of coal stones connected to a Midi sound system. As the artist and the audience interact with the rocks\, different water sounds will resonate to create a soundscape referring to the rivers and natural resources now destroyed by coal mining. It is a confrontation to discuss under which conditions Berlin and Germany manage to perpetuate their development. \nTickets: Free admission\nLocation: Oyoun\nLanguage: English \n \nBiography \nAlejandra Alarcón Bautista \nAlejandra was born and raised in Bogotá\, where she got a degree in fine arts at Universidad Nacional de Colombia. In 2013 she won a DAAD-ISAP exchange scholarship and studied Arts & New Media at the Kunsthochschule für Medien-köln. Alejandra moved to Germany in 2017 to continue her studies in scenography and exhibition design at TU Berlin\, where she obtained an M.A. degree. She was a scholarship holder of Sentasverwaltung für Kultur und Europa between 2020/22 and has collaborated with other artists and musicians in many art festivals and independent projects around Germany. \nHer artwork focuses on the design of physical and virtual places using different media. Während des Genozids an den Tutsi in Ruanda wurden ihr Mann\, ihre Eltern und ein Großteil ihrer Familie ermordet. Gemeinsam mit anderen Witwen gründete sie die bedeutende Selbsthilfegruppe AVEGA (Association of Widows of the April Genocide). Nach ihrer Ausbildung zur Traumatherapeutin an der University of East Anglia arbeitete sie in dieser Rolle für die Organisation. Zudem ist sie Autorin mehrerer Bücher und produzierte die Fernsehdokumentation "Hope in Hell" für BBC über Frauen\, die während des Genozid absichtlich vergewaltigt und mit HIV infiziert wurden. Esther Mujawayo-Keiner erhielt zwei Preise für ihre Bücher\, das Bundesverdienstkreuz des deutschen Bundespräsidenten (Oktober 2008)\, den Women Social Award in Wien (November 2008) und den UN Watch Award. \nShahnura Kasim \nShahnura Kasim ist uigurische Content Creatorin\, Sprecherin und Aktivistin aus München\, Deutschland. Ihre Eltern flohen vor ihrer Geburt vor der Verfolgung durch China. Derzeit werden jedoch ihr Onkel\, ihre Tante und ihre Großmutter in den berüchtigten Lagern festgehalten. Mit ihrer engagierten Arbeit versucht sie\, das Bewusstsein für den Genozid an den Uiguren zu schärfen\, und hat bereits Hunderttausende von Menschen mit ihrer Botschaft erreicht. \nNihad Kreševljaković \nNihad Kreševljaković\, geboren in Sarajevo\, Bosnien\, ist ein Historiker\, Produzent\, Drehbuchautor und Regisseur. Er ist Direktor des Internationalen Theaterfestivals MESS und des Sarajevo War Theatre. Im Jahr 2011 gründete er zusammen mit seinem Bruder Sead die Dokumentarfilmproduktionsfirma Videoarhiv und arbeitete als Drehbuchautor an zahlreichen Filmprojekten. Im Jahr 2019 wurde Kreševljaković mit dem KAIROS-Preis ausgezeichnet. \nMelina Borčak \nMelina Borčak ist Journalistin\, Filmemacherin und Autorin aus Sarajevo\, Bosnien. Sie arbeitete u.a. für CNN\, arte\, ZDF\, Deutsche Welle\, den Bundestag. Doch mittlerweile arbeitet sie direkt für ihre Follower und veröffentlicht bei Instagram und Twitter unabhängigen Journalismus. Sie arbeitet zu den Themen Genozide\, Medienkritik\, antimuslimischer Rassismus. Ihr Buch "Mekka hier\, Mekka da - Wie wir über antimuslimischen Rassismus sprechen müssen" erschien 2023 bei hanserblau. \nInstagram\nWebsite \nEsther Mujawayo-Keiner \nEsther Mujawayo-Keiner\, 1958 in Ruanda geboren\, ist Soziologin und Aktivistin. Während des Genozids an den Tutsi in Ruanda wurden ihr Mann\, ihre Eltern und ein Großteil ihrer Familie ermordet. Gemeinsam mit anderen Witwen gründete sie die bedeutende Selbsthilfegruppe AVEGA (Association of Widows of the April Genocide). Nach ihrer Ausbildung zur Traumatherapeutin an der University of East Anglia arbeitete sie in dieser Rolle für die Organisation. Zudem ist sie Autorin mehrerer Bücher und produzierte die Fernsehdokumentation "Hope in Hell" für BBC über Frauen\, die während des Genozid absichtlich vergewaltigt und mit HIV infiziert wurden. Esther Mujawayo-Keiner erhielt zwei Preise für ihre Bücher\, das Bundesverdienstkreuz des deutschen Bundespräsidenten (Oktober 2008)\, den Women Social Award in Wien (November 2008) und den UN Watch Award. \nShahnura Kasim \nShahnura Kasim ist uigurische Content Creatorin\, Sprecherin und Aktivistin aus München\, Deutschland. Ihre Eltern flohen vor ihrer Geburt vor der Verfolgung durch China. Derzeit werden jedoch ihr Onkel\, ihre Tante und ihre Großmutter in den berüchtigten Lagern festgehalten. DESCRIPTION:*Bitte beachtet\, dass diese Veranstaltungen nicht im Oyoun\, sondern im ZK/U (Zentrum für Kunst und Urbanistik) stattfinden!* \nOyouns Tiny House geht auf Tour! \nZwischen Ende August und Mitte Oktober wandert unser Tiny House durch verschiedene Berliner Bezirke. Für jeweils eine Woche halten wir an verschiedenen Kulturorten und -institutionen und interagieren mit dem umliegenden urbanen Raum\, der Nachbarschaft und den örtlichen Partner*innen. \nVon Montag\, den 18.9.\, bis Sonntag\, den 24.9. wirft das Tiny House einen Blick auf den Westhafen und steht vor der Rückseite des ZK/U (Zentrum für Kunst und Urbanistik). Es gibt Zugang zu einer großen grünen Fläche und dem benachbarten Park.  \nEuch erwartet ein umfangreiches Programm mit wiederkehrenden Workshops zu den Themen Podcasting mit Hamam Talk\, Mixtaping mit Maurice Leoni-Osion und Fotografie mit Queer Analog Darkroom\, sowie Pop-up Ausstellungen und Performances: \n--- \nMo 18.9. 15:00-18:00 h\n⇒ Workshop | “The Home ReMixtape Artchives”\nw/ Maurice Leoni-Osion \nFür viele von uns ist Zuhause der Ort\, an dem wir geboren wurden\, leben\, genealogisch verwurzelt sind oder ein Gefühl der Zugehörigkeit aufbauen. Diese Definition von Zuhause wird jedoch nicht immer von einer breiteren Bevölkerung geteilt\, insbesondere nicht von marginalisierten Gemeinschaften\, die wie alle anderen für angeborene Geburtsrechte akzeptiert werden sollten\, um eine innere Struktur / Schutz zu bieten\, um Kulturen\, Sprachen\, geliebte Menschen\, Geschichten\, Träume\, Erinnerungen und Zukunft zu bewahren. \nDie Home ReMixtape Artchives sind eine Serie von Kunstworkshops\, die die Erstellung von Home-Mixtapes als archivarischen Ansatz nutzen\, um unerzählte Geschichten rund um die Erfahrung des Zuhauses zu dokumentieren\, zu schützen und zu bewahren. Die Teilnehmer*innen werden Mixed-Media\, Graff Writing\, Illustrationen\, Zeitlinien\, gefundene Klänge\, Interviews\, Audioaufnahmen\, Lieder und Musikproduktion erkunden\, um gemeinsam an einem Community-Mixtape zu arbeiten. Das Ziel besteht darin\, einen kreativen Raum für verschiedene Stimmen zu schaffen\, um ihre einzigartigen Geschichten zu erzählen\, während sie einen kohärenten Rhythmus untereinander finden\, der zukünftige Erzählungen aus ihren Nachbarschaften feiert. \nDie Workshops werden in einer interaktiven Ausstellung vom 16. bis 30. Durch eine ausgewogene Mischung aus theoretischem Input und praktischen Übungen werden die Teilnehmer*innen in die Lage versetzt\, eigene Podcast-Episoden zu konzipieren\, aufzunehmen\, zu bearbeiten und zu präsentieren. Wir leben im Anthropozän: dem von Menschen dominierten Planeten. Die Frage nach dem Aussterben der Menschheit mag in diesem Moment von größter Bedeutung sein - aber wenn wir auf das Erbe der Herrschaft und Gewalt der Menschheit über einander\, über andere Lebewesen und den Planeten schauen\, ist die Frage danach\, wer wir als Menschen sind\, nicht ebenso von höchster Relevanz? Als queere*r\, multikulturelle*r Künstler*in mit vielfältigen fachlichen Interessen und somatischer Praxis\, die verschiedenen marginalisierten Identitäten angehört\, hat hugo x tibiriçá die Absicht\, Oyouns Tiny House mit einer interdisziplinären Arbeit (Video\, bildende Kunst und Performance) namens "rituals for the anthropocene" zu besetzen - eine Serie spontaner Video-Rituale\, die live aufgeführt werden sollen und das Überleben auf einem von Menschen dominierten Planeten behandeln. Die umliegende Nachbarschaft wird eingeladen sein\, die Aufführungen\, Ausstellung und Durchführung der Video-Rituale zu bezeugen\, daran teilzunehmen und aktiv mitzuwirken. Diese Rituale hinterfragen und stellen in Frage\, ob der Mensch eine dominante Spezies ist\, ebenso wie die Geschichte und das Erbe der Menschheit von Herrschaft und Gewalt gegenüber einander\, anderen Lebewesen und dem Planeten. Obwohl das Erbe ein halbes Jahrhundert zurückreicht\, spiegelt die populäre Darstellung nicht den Reichtum des Wissens und des Geistes dieser Kunstform wider. Breaking ist\, um Joseph Schloss zu zitieren\, "eine zutiefst spirituelle Disziplin\, ebenso eine Kampfkunst wie ein Tanz\, ebenso ein Mittel zur Selbstverwirklichung wie eine Reihe von Bewegungen". Einer der Gründe dafür\, dass "der interne Diskurs des B-Boying übersehen wurde\, ist\, dass die meisten akademischen Hip-Hop-Forschungen immer noch im Rahmen der Literaturanalyse und der Kulturwissenschaften arbeiten (Stiftung\, 2009)."Breaking Poetics and Aesthetics" ist ein hybrider Workshop\, bei dem die Teilnehmer eingeladen sind\, über die Bewegung von sich selbst und anderen zu tanzen und zu schreiben. Durch die Fokussierung auf die Bewegungen der Foundation und den anonymen Austausch von Texten untereinander versucht der Workshop\, die Essenz der Kunstform als intersubjektives Phänomen zu benennen. Am Ende des Workshops werden die Teilnehmer aktiv zur verkörperten Theorie des Breakings beigetragen haben\, mit den Ideen und Gefühlen\, die durch die körperliche Bewegung in Bewegung gesetzt werden\, sowie mit den Worten\, die sie beschreiben oder anweisen. \nTickets: Eintritt frei (Registrierung erforderlich) | Anmeldung hier\nSprache: Englisch \nBitte beachtet\, dass die Plätze sehr limitiert sind. Wenn ihr es doch nicht schafft\, den Workshop wahrzunehmen\, gebt bitte rechtzeitig Bescheid\, damit wir euren Platz wieder freigeben können. \n--- \nSo 24.9.\, 15:00-19:00 h\n⇒ Workshop | “Seeing Yourself: Queer Self-Portraits”\nw/ Jasper & Sophie – Queer Analog Darkroom \nIn zwei Workshops von Jasper & Sophie von Queer Analog Darkroom wird untersucht\, wie Fotografie als Werkzeug von Queeren-Befreiungsbewegungen funktionieren kann. Gemeinsam werden die Machtstrukturen\, auf denen Fotografie sowohl in der Theorie als auch in der Praxis basiert\, diskutiert. Ein Schwerpunkt liegt auf der Geschichte der Kamera im Zuge von Kolonialismus und Heteronormativität und den daraus resultierenden Machtunterschieden zwischen den Fotografierten und den Fotografierenden. Welche Wege und Möglichkeiten gibt es\, diese Machtstrukturen zu queeren\, zu rekodieren und zu dekonstruieren? Es werden zwei Workshops angeboten\, die unabhängig voneinander besucht werden können. Der zweite Workshop findet in der darauffolgenden Woche beim Korea Verband statt. \nIm ersten Workshop wird damit experimentiert\, sich selbst vor die Kamera zu stellen. Dabei geht es darum\, sich mit Selbstporträts in der queeren Kunstgeschichte auseinanderzusetzen\, über Vorstellungen zu sprechen\, sich gegenseitig bei der Umsetzung zu helfen und über die Fotos zu sprechen\, die gemacht werden sollen. Unterstützt wird dieser Workshop durch die Sofortbildfotografie\, durch die man direkt sehen kann\, wie das Bild entsteht und gleichzeitig eine Art Besitzanspruch auf das Bild erhält. However\, this definition of the home is not always shared by a broader population\, specifically marginalized communities\, who\, like everyone\, should be accepted for instinctual birthrights to provide an inner structure/shelter to protect cultures\, languages\, loved ones\, stories\, dreams\, memories\, and futures. \nThe Home ReMixtape Artchives is a series of art workshops utilizing the creation of home mixtapes as an archival approach to document\, protect and preserve untold stories centered around the home experience. Participants will explore mixed media; graff writing\, illustrations\, timelines\, found sounds\, interviews\, audio recordings\, songs\, and music production to collaborate on a community mixtape. Under her supervision and care\, Maurice dug through the crates of his grandma's record collection\, was reprimanded for tagging (writing) names in Crayola on walls\, watched other family members perform acrobatic dance moves at cook-outs\, listened to Muhammad Ali kick rhymes predicting his knockouts\, and resampled his aunts and uncles' fashion aesthetics. As a result\, Maurice was consistently provided with an openness to be creative and courageous in discovering self-identity and expression. Affectionately nicknamed\, “Cat Mama” Boss has created “Cat Mama World” where her multiple artistic personalities come to life. Her album\, Remember was ranked the number 1 R&B album of 2022 by Native Magazine and her live show Cat Mama World has gained popularity for its showcase of her theatrical ability and excellent storytelling. Boss also hosts “Cat Mama World” on Oroko Radio\, and works as creative team lead for Black Girls Glow (an organisation that aims at fostering collaboration between women creatives)\, she also moderates and facilitates workshops and has started curating monthly Open Mic Nights in her hometown of Accra. Sie studierte Islamwissenschaften\, Nahoststudien und Kommunikationswissenschaften an der Otto-Friedrich-Universität Bamberg sowie an der FAU in Erlangen. Ihre Schwerpunkte lagen vor allem auf islamischem Recht\, Islamismus und Sexualität im Islam. \nIm Sommer 2020 gründete sie gemeinsam mit ihrer Freundin Sarah den Podcast „Hamam Talk“ in dem sie über Rassismus\, Politik\, Kultur\, Gesellschaft\, Identität und Sexualität spricht. Alles Themen\, die sie aufgrund ihrer eigenen syrischen Wurzeln schon lange begleitet haben. \nNeben ihrer Aufklärungsarbeit gibt sie auch Anti-Rassismus- und Podcast-Workshops. Linda arbeitet aktuell als Community Managerin beim ZDF und Moderatorin für das Format TLNT.TALK.BERLIN bei TLNT&TLNT e.V. \nSarah Farhatiar \nSarah Farhatiar ist in Freiburg im Breisgau geboren und wuchs dort auf. Sie absolvierte ihr Studium der Islamwissenschaften mit dem Schwerpunkt Zentral- und Südasien sowie Soziologie an der Otto-Friedrich-Universität Bamberg. Darüber hinaus erwarb sie einen Master in Global Studies an der Universität Basel. Während ihres Studiums konzentrierte sie sich insbesondere auf feministische Friedens- und Konfliktforschung sowie Migration. \nIm Sommer 2020 gründete Sarah gemeinsam mit ihrer Freundin Linda den Podcast "Hamam Talk"\, in dem sie über eine Vielzahl von Themen spricht\, darunter Rassismus\, Politik\, Kultur\, Gesellschaft\, Identität und Sexualität. SUMMARY:MediaLab Scenario Workshop | The joy of being an error
DESCRIPTION:The body\, as a gendered material\, is seeking a way to reshape a world in which participation would be possible. At a deeper level of this approach to machinic or digital systems\, where colonial ideas still dominate the non-white world\, we no longer wish to participate in any of these ecosystems. This is because we were born as errors in connection with the “World White Web”\, which fortunately prevented us from merging with it. \nAnyways\, we are not going to analyze whiteness anymore but will talk about our resistance stories and confrontation strategies to this all. Our non-white bodies and non-white non-binary identities have given rise to a parallel world that is a significant glitch within a larger system that has never been able to create a functional ecosystem alongside colonial-capitalist ecosystems. Though its legacy runs half a century\, its popular representation does not reflect the richness of the knowledge and spirit within the art form. Breaking\, to quote Joseph Schloss\, “is a profoundly spiritual discipline\, as much as a martial art as a dance\, as much a vehicle for self-realization as a series of movements.” One of the reasons that “the internal discourse of b-boying has been overlooked is that most academic hip-hop scholarship still operates within the framework of literary analysis and cultural studies. (Foundation\, 2009)  \n\n"Breaking Poetics and Aesthetics" is a hybrid workshop where participants are invited to dance and write about the movement of themselves and each other. By focusing on the foundation moves and sharing writings anonymously with each other\, the workshop seeks to designate the essence of the art form as an intersubjective phenomena. He moved to the US in 2002 and lived there until relocating to Berlin in 2018. \nAt the core of Lee’s practice is dance\, drawing\, reading and writing. His training in dance\, particularly Breaking\, informs his use of feet and floor to perform embodied drawings and writings. Prompted by his ambivalent experience of learning English as a second language\, his artistic inquiry in relation to language led to an absorption in the theory of the origin of dance\, drawing\, and writing arising from the bodily experience of the world\, hence in the bodily relations between them. \nLee embraces the exposure to languages at the edge of our conscious understanding\, such as critical theory\, as a transcendental experience. Inspired by the theory of revolution in one’s every day\, Lee organizes reading groups. In addition to critical theory\, his research involves comparative history between the East and West\, as well as North and South Korea. \nLee’s works have been shown in various galleries and institutions in Berlin\, Leipzig\, and New York. Women do not even have rights to be violated. They have lost the ability to learn\, graduate\, fall in love\, work\, travel alone\, go for a walk in the park\, or ride a bicycle. \nUnder the Starry Afghan Sky are eleven young women aged between 15 – 23 living in Kabul & Heart\, Afghanistan under Taliban rule. Through a diverse range of workshops\, the aim is to connect decolonial knowledge and artistic practices with marketing\, design\, and knowledge dissemination. \nThird stop: @ ZK/U (Siemensstraße 27\, 10551 Berlin) \n*** \n"Seeing Yourself - Queer Self Portraits" and "Seeing Other: Queer Portraits" is a set of workshops. They will explore how photography can function as a tool/part of for queer liberation. Collectively the power structures photography is based on\, both in theory and practise. will be discussed. There will be a  focus on the history of the camera in the course of colonialism and heteronormativity and the resulting power differences between the photographed and the photographer. Which ways and possibilities could be there\, to queer\, recode and deconstruct these power structures? Two workshops are offered\, which can be attended independently of each other. \nWorkshop 1 - Self-Portraits: \nThe first workshop is experimenting with putting oneself in front of the camera. For this\, the focus lies upon looking at self-portraiture in queer art history\, talking about imaginations\, trying to help each other realise them\, and speaking about the photographs that will be taken. This workshop is supported by instant photography\, through which one can directly see how the image comes to life and at the same time gives a kind of ownership over the image. The core team consists of eight people\, all of whom bring a wide range of different skills and knowledge related to photography. In addition to their queerness\, it is the different identities and experiences of marginalization that connect the members of the collective and that shape their work and perspectives on photography. As part of the 'Urbane Praxis' project funding\, the Queer Analog Darkroom collective\, founded in 2022\, wants to help shape urban public space in cooperation with Oyoun. Rooms are not accessible to everyone in the same way. The goal of the QAD collective is to create spaces for a community around analogue film development and film technology through self-organized and non-commercial work. Für jeweils eine Woche halten wir an verschiedenen Kulturorten und -institutionen und interagieren mit dem umliegenden urbanen Raum\, der Nachbarschaft und den örtlichen Partner*innen. \nIn dieser Woche wird das Tiny House 5 Minuten zu Fuß vom Korea Verband (Quitzowstraße 103\, 10551 Berlin) entfernt in der Nähe der U-Bahnstation Birkenstraße vor der Friedensstatue (Bremer Str. 41\, 10551 Berlin) stationiert sein. \nDie Friedensstatue gedenkt und verstärkt die Kämpfe der Frauen*\, die während des Asiatisch-Pazifischen Krieges (“Trostfrauen”) von der japanischen Armee sexuell versklavt wurden. Anlässlich des diesjährigen Chuseok (추석) wird der Korea Verband das 3-jährige Jubiläum der Friedensstatue in Berlin-Moabit mit dem Fest der Sterne* feiern und gleichzeitig den politischen Druck der japanischen Regierung zur Entfernung der Statue thematisieren.  \nEuch erwartet ein umfangreiches Programm mit wiederkehrenden Workshops zu den Themen Podcasting mit Hamam Talk\, Mixtaping mit Maurice Leoni-Osion und Fotografie mit Queer Analog Darkroom\, sowie Pop-up Ausstellungen und Performances: \n--- \nMo 25.9. 15:00-18:00 h\n⇒ Workshop | “The Home ReMixtape Artchives” \nw/ Maurice Leoni-Osion \nFür viele von uns ist Zuhause der Ort\, an dem wir geboren wurden\, leben\, genealogisch verwurzelt sind oder ein Gefühl der Zugehörigkeit aufbauen. Diese Definition von Zuhause wird jedoch nicht immer von einer breiteren Bevölkerung geteilt\, insbesondere nicht von marginalisierten Gemeinschaften\, die wie alle anderen für angeborene Geburtsrechte akzeptiert werden sollten\, um eine innere Struktur / Schutz zu bieten\, um Kulturen\, Sprachen\, geliebte Menschen\, Geschichten\, Träume\, Erinnerungen und Zukunft zu bewahren. \nDie Home ReMixtape Artchives sind eine Serie von Kunstworkshops\, die die Erstellung von Home-Mixtapes als archivarischen Ansatz nutzen\, um unerzählte Geschichten rund um die Erfahrung des Zuhauses zu dokumentieren\, zu schützen und zu bewahren. Die Teilnehmer*innen werden Mixed-Media\, Graff Writing\, Illustrationen\, Zeitlinien\, gefundene Klänge\, Interviews\, Audioaufnahmen\, Lieder und Musikproduktion erkunden\, um gemeinsam an einem Community-Mixtape zu arbeiten. Das Ziel besteht darin\, einen kreativen Raum für verschiedene Stimmen zu schaffen\, um ihre einzigartigen Geschichten zu erzählen\, während sie einen kohärenten Rhythmus untereinander finden\, der zukünftige Erzählungen aus ihren Nachbarschaften feiert. \nDie Workshops werden in einer interaktiven Ausstellung vom 16. bis 30. Dabei werden die Machtstrukturen\, auf denen die Fotografie basiert\, sowohl in Theorie als auch in der Praxis\, gemeinsam diskutiert. Ein Schwerpunkt wird auf der Geschichte der Kamera im Kontext des Kolonialismus und der Heteronormativität liegen sowie auf den resultierenden Machtunterschieden zwischen den Abgebildeten und den Fotografierenden. Welche Wege und Möglichkeiten könnten existieren\, um diese Machtstrukturen zu queeren\, umzucodieren und zu dekonstruieren? Es werden zwei Workshops angeboten\, die unabhängig voneinander besucht werden können (am 24.9. im ZK/U und am 27.9. beim Korea Verband). \nDer zweite Workshop beim Korea Verband konzentriert sich darauf\, sich gegenseitig zu fotografieren. Im theoretischen Teil werden Machtverhältnisse als Fotografierende diskutiert und wie auf reflektierte Weise damit umgegangen werden kann\, ebenso wie mit welchen Absichten wir andere fotografieren und wie sich Porträtfotografie partizipativer gestalten lässt. \nGanz praktisch wird in diesem Workshop mit Sofortfotografie gearbeitet. Die unmittelbare physische Präsenz der Bilder schafft ein greifbares und unvergessliches Element\, um Queerness aktiv im städtischen Raum zu verorten. Durch eine ausgewogene Mischung aus theoretischem Input und praktischen Übungen werden die Teilnehmer*innen in die Lage versetzt\, eigene Podcast-Episoden zu konzipieren\, aufzunehmen\, zu bearbeiten und zu präsentieren. Mit einem eintägigen Programm inklusive einer partizipativen Installation im Tiny House werden bestehende Solidaritätsbeziehungen und Selbstorganisation sichtbar gemacht und der Raum für neue Begegnungen eröffnet. \nDie partizipative Ausstellung wird die Arbeit politischer Initiativen marginalisierter\, rassifizierter Gemeinschaften\, insbesondere asiatischer Diaspora-Gruppen\, in Zusammenarbeit mit lokalen Initiativen\, (post-)migrantischen (Selbst-)Organisationen und Gemeindemitgliedern versammeln. Im Rahmen eines Open Calls im Vorfeld der Ausstellung werden die jeweiligen Gemeinschaften gebeten\, Archivmaterial für die Ausstellung zur Verfügung zu stellen: Fotos\, Videos und Audioaufnahmen vergangener Veranstaltungen dienen dazu\, die Bedeutung der Friedensstatue als gemeinsamen Bezugspunkt der Solidarität in Berlin zu dokumentieren und hervorzuheben. \nAm Tag der Ausstellung sind die Besucher*innen aufgefordert\, ihre eigenen Gedanken\, Gefühle und Kommentare zu hinterlassen\, neue Verbindungen zwischen den Ausstellungselementen herzustellen und sich an der Schaffung eines entstehenden Archivs zu beteiligen. \nDie Installation lädt euch ein\, sich mit Neugier und Fantasie mit der Aura der Friedensstatue auseinanderzusetzen.
