The founders:
_Ahmed Elbukhari
is a Libyan writer, art producer and cultural manager who has already published two novels. Ahmed is also a podcaster and stand-up comedian.
_Tazir
Tazir (he/they) is a Libyan journalist specializing in queer, black and feminist culture in Libya and Germany.
The project:
Telephassa is a non-profit cultural organization based in Berlin that aims to create new platforms for overlooked minorities.
Ahmed and Tazir are working to support and space three of the most underrepresented areas and the historical and cultural links between them: North Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa and the Mediterranean.
