Rayan Elhadi Hima

Rayan Elhadi Hima is a feminist activist, doctor, researcher and writer. She is interested in numerous forms of art, such as acting, performance and design. She grew up in Saudi Arabia as a diaspora child, along with other diaspora children from various Arab countries and from Saudi Arabia's Shiite minorities. But since she was unable to become a citizen of the country, she always had problems with her identity until she moved to Sudan. There she evolved very differently, becoming who she is now: a Black African feminist fighting against all forms of discrimination based on race, class, gender and slavery. Rayan is part of the Baab collective. Rayan Elhadi Hima is part of Baab collective.
