Cornelia Becker

Cornelia Becker was born in December 1957 in a village near Paderborn. Among other things, she studied German, Spanish, education, lived for many years in southern Spain, worked as a teacher, tourist guide, secretary, waitress, bar owner and freelancer in cultural and educational institutions. It was only late in writing that she found her way through the temporary loss of her mother tongue. Cornelia writes prose, poetry and radio plays, which she publishes in literary magazines and on the radio. Her books and novels have been published by various publishers. She has received awards and grants for her work. Accompanying the writing process, the so-called "little boxes" are created, in which she traces the dark, unknown sides of her work.
