Benjamin Bajramovic

Benjamin Bajramović is a Bosnian writer and actor. He was born in Zenica in 1989 and graduated from the Academy of Performing Arts in Sarajevo in 2011. As an actor he took part in many Bosnian and international productions and co-productions in various theaters (National Theater Sarajevo, SARTR Sarajevo, MESS Festival Sarajevo, Bosnian National Theater Zenica, HAU Berlin, Nottingham Playhouse, ITD Theater Zagreb, ODA Theater Prishtina). He has written one novel (“Ithakas”, 2020), three plays (“Ithakas” – 2017, “The Wild Bush” – 2018, “Bordel Eden” – 2020) and short stories. His play “Bordel Eden” won the Regional Play of the Year award from the Heartefact Foundation in Belgrade, Serbia. He also received the short story of the year award from Sarajevo magazine Oslobođenje for his short story Grieving.
