Avril Stormy Unger

Avril Stormy Unger is an interdisciplinary artist whose practice spans continuous performance, art of movement, public interventions and installations.

Her work is strongly influenced by the nuances of performance and tries to question accepted social norms and behavior. Her practice includes folk art and is Indian by nature.

The topics she explores in her work include gender, trauma, sexuality, religion, memory, and urban life. In addition to her artistic work, Avril is a certified alternative practitioner for psychotherapy.
