ANNABELL TRAUTMANN & DAWKINS FANUEL AMUKO

As a tandem, Dawkins and Annabell explore the various effects of colonial history on our present and, taking into account their Kenyan and Ethiopian-German origins, deal with decolonial processes in our society. They are participants in the kulturweit tandem program of the German Unesco Commission and are working on an anti-racist project in Oyoun for 3 months. They ask themselves how we can strive for a postcolonial society. Together they examine colonial continuities in various cultural aspects (language, cityscape, clothing, politics, etc.) and exchange ideas with people who are also driving decolonial processes.
