Woka Kuma Deutschland eV in cooperation with Oyoun invite you to an evening with discussion, exchange, concert and music in Oyoun on October 31.10.20, XNUMX!

Concert 1 “Culture Supply Family”: Asphalt Djelis, the trio abducts us into afrofuturistic sounds, as “children of reconciliation” we experience a journey through music in all its facets through new sensory stimuli.

Concert 2 : Kandy Guira: Originally from Burkina Faso, Kandy Guira impresses with her strong, powerful melodious voice. In her pieces she combines traditional and modern Burkinabe music in Mooré and French and has collaborated with great artists such as Manu Dibango and Oumou Sangaré as part of her career. On stage and in their music, the rhythms and melodies of Afropop sound together with electronic sounds as a rousing arrangement.

Faso Orkestra: The group consisting of traditional West African instruments of Djembé, Balafon and Dundun lets you experience the sound of music from Burkina Faso. Burkinabe musicians from the diaspora, who have all played in countless groups and projects themselves, now show us the rhythms and melodies from Burkina Faso (Djah Barro, Petit Solo Diabaté, Massa Démbélé) at the Woka Kuma Festival.
