This takes the instative "Our voice counts - for participation and anti-racism" on February 06, 2023 to ask the candidates of the SPD, Greens, LINKE, CDU and FDP what they will do for the German-Arab community.

About the initiative “Our voice counts! - Participation. anti-racism. Activism"

The initiative “Our voice counts! - Participation. anti-racism. Aktivism.” was founded in 2021 with the aim of strongly increasing the non-partisan and non-denominational election demands of German-Arab voters in the election campaign for the Bundestag, the Berlin House of Representatives and the twelve district parliaments (district assembly, from 16 years of age) until the election on February 12, 2023 do and demand.

The members have come together to demand a life of dignity for themselves and their children, a world without racism, such as anti-Arab and anti-Muslim racism, with fair opportunities for all and peace. They want to challenge politics with a social media campaign, panel discussions and election touchstones.

◥ At Oyoun, there is no place for sexism, queerphobia, transphobia, any form of racism or discrimination such as anti-Black, anti-Muslim or anti-Jewish racism, and any sort of violent or aggressive behaviour. Oyoun offers a safer space for all, an open forum for dialogue and a place where we support and stand up for each other.
