PERFORMING ARTS FESTIVAL | Workshop #1: Cultures of Resistance – CommUnity Theater and Activist Networks
May 25, 2022 14:00 - 16:00
How does a theater position itself in society? How does it stay connected to burning issues? For us, the theater should be an activist place and a place by and for the community(s). For this, movement must be in the theater and theater in the movement - that is only possible through networking.
In this workshop, Annika Füser and Ahmed Shah talk about the work of the Theater X and talk about the interface between theatre, community work and activism. And why they capitalize the U from CommUnity. The workshop is open to all people who are involved in activism and art, are interested in it or have always wanted to learn more.
>> Free entry!
