Biography

Salah Zater is a performance artist, dancer and choreographer and he is working as a consultant for the performing arts program in Berlin. His artistic work combines the power of dance and performance with a deep commitment to social justice. Through his performances, he challenges audiences to confront issues of racism, inequality, and oppression, but also about the power of dance and the process of healing, birth, death, and love with inanimate objects. His art explores the complex relationship between the body, identity, and the environment, digging deep beneath the surface to uncover the hidden histories of persecution and oppression towards a more just and equitable world and society.
