¿Dónde quedan grabadas nuestras impresiones? ¿Cuáles permanecen a través del tiempo y no son visibles?
Intersections and capas de archivos migratorios y de exilio que revelan other miradas sobre la cultura de la memoria alemana y other form de habitar nuestras impressiones.

¿Pero qué más nos dicen estas imágenes? ¿Qué esconden? ¿Quién hizo las photos? ¿Qué legitiman? ¿Qué nuevas preguntas hacemos a estos archivos en el presente?

Nuestras historias familiares transmiten no solamente relatos, anécdotas, leyendas, silencios, y demás elementos narrativos. The disposición y la yuxtaposición de las imágenes crearán una oportunidad para incluir nuevas dimensiones, conocimientos y emociones en la reflexión de las mismas. Se expondrán nuevas impresiones sobre los archivos de tres generaciones de la familia Siemsen en Argentina y en Alemania.

La exposure forma parte del proyecto Now time - life memories on migration, y está financiada por el Departamento de Cultura y Europa del Senado de Berlin como parte de la financiación de projected culturales de historia contemporánea y memoria. IG: @ now-time-memories; Facebook: Now life memories on migration

Sandra Feferbaum Siemsen y Ezequiel Monteros son dos argentinos que por different razones migraron a Alemania.

Sandra Feferbaum Siemsen there activista, feminista, diseñadora grafica y trabaja como freelancer en colaboración con diversas empresas, organizaciones y proyectos para los que desarrolla y ejecuta conceptos. Tiene antecedentes migratorios alemanes, austriacos y polacos.

Ezequiel Monteros It un activista de los derechos humanos y artista audiovisual que trabaja en el campo del cine documental y el videoarte. Trabaja desde una perspectiva interdisciplinaria los conflictos de la cultura de la memoria y las jerarquías invisibles actuales del post colonialismo. IG: @ezequielmonteros

Recordar que para la entrada al evento es necesario una test negativo de corona, vacunación o estar recuperado de un contagio dentro de los últimos seis meses. Dentro de Oyoun se debe utilizar una máscara. More information about the concept of higiene se puedeounter here

Where are our impressions engraved, which ones remain visible over time?

Interfaces and layers of migration and exile archives reveal unknown insights into the German culture of remembrance.  

Our family stories contain short stories, anecdotes, legends, silence and other narrative elements. In this way, new impressions from the archives of three generations of the Siemsen family in Argentina and Germany are shown.

What do these pictures tell us? What are they hiding? Who photographed them? What do they legitimize? What new questions are we asking these archives in the present? 

The design and juxtaposition of the images offer the opportunity to incorporate new dimensions, insights and emotions into viewing the images.

This is an exhibition by Ezequiel Monteros and Sandra Feferbaum Siemsen. The two artists come from Argentina and have migrated to Germany for different reasons.

Sandra Feferbaum Siemsen is an activist, feminist, graphic designer and freelance worker in various companies, organizations and projects for which she develops and implements concepts. She has a German, Austrian and Polish migration background. 

Ezequiel Monteros is an Argentine human rights activist and audiovisual artist working in the documentary and video art field. He works from an interdisciplinary perspective on the conflicts of the culture of remembrance and the current invisible hierarchies of post-colonialism. IG: @ezequielmonteros

IMPORTANT: A daily, negative corona test (rapid test) or a complete vaccination certificate (14 days after the last required individual vaccination, as electronic vaccination certificate, paper vaccination pass is not sufficient) or proof of recovery (maximum 6 months is not sufficient) is required for participation old positive test). Mouth and nose protection must be worn indoors (except at the seat). The usual Corona distance rules of 1,5 meters to people outside your own household must be observed.
