Benefit concert in aid of the earthquake victims of the city of Khoy in Iran 

The benefit concert is themed ''A dialogue between Iranian and international instruments''. The music band ''Iran Ava'' will be performing, which will present a unique performance under the direction of Mr. Yaser Bayat - a composer and musician from Iran.

Biography 

Yaser Bayat

Yaser Bayat is a composer and musician of various instruments (kamanche, setar, tonbak, etc.) from Iran. He taught and researched at the University of Tehran, among others. He worked as a music director at two music schools in Tehran. Bayat has composed the music for more than 60 professional plays. He played hundreds of concerts with different bands (including Shahnazi and Chehal Daf) in Iran and other countries like Poland, Armenia, Italy, Qatar, Turkey and Germany. With his band "Zarb AWA" he performed mainly in Iran and Indonesia. Yaser Bayat published several scientific articles such as "Kamanche Lorestan, Turkman, Theater Music" and two books "Darband", Tonbak and Chasme Khoroshan Rhythm. Many times he was present on television and radio. He performed music in the film "Hamgonah" and in the album "Mast Hoshiar". As an active member, he works as a composer in the "Theater Haus" and "Musik Haus" in Iran. Yaser Bayat has lived in Berlin since 2021 and teaches music at the Global Music School. With the founding of the music group "Iran Ava" Yaser Bayat not only wants to present Iranian musical instruments, but also initiate a musical dialogue between Iranian and international musical instruments.
